dj uairing and then retreating->side b leaves you with less frames vulnerable.

perfect planking implies the greatest abuse of invincibility right? so i feel like shine should be involved somewhere.

On YI, ledgehop > parasolic shine bomb back onto the ledge? Other than that, I don't feel like shine will help much, too much cooldown :/ better to use it in reaction to something imo.

I slapped all of the videos into the archive that hadn't already been in there. Also fixed a few minor errors.
Lookin' good.

Videos from HOBO 31.

KRD (Wolf) vs. P4 (MK)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EEtS9Azerz4

I dunno what went wrong game 3.

KRD (Wolf) vs. Tesh (Sonic)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sn_Fk5W6REU
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e1A_-WFABGc

I think he saved the replay from game 3, but he hasn't uploaded it yet. Game 3 was extremely close but I won. On game 2 I was confused because I didn't know about Sonic's invincible spin dash.

Also, 4:48 of game too. Proof of my terrible reaction speed. Stage changes, I wait a second, then react :awesome:

My Wolf still needs a LOT of work, mainly in the basic tech skill department. I mess up dacus several times, a lot of my Dsmashes aren't supposed to be Dsmashes, some of my ftilts turn into Fsmashes, etc. That's probably just because I don't play enough anymore. One main thing I did notice from watching these videos is that I laser from an unsafe range a lot.

Hey guys! I finally got my ezcap in the mail, so Hells to the yes. I recorded a bunch of videos of our friendlies yesterday and figured that I would be wise to upload some of my weaker performances for criticism :). Here is the first! More will be on my channel by the end of the weekend. Let me know what you guys think!

P.s. I have an odd feeling that I need to stop my aerial approaches :p. Any suggestions for other ways to close in?

im sry dude, im gunna have to snag that bair>reflector>bair combo from u:awesome:
JJ special js bombing 101.

It's actually a VERY useful tool because you generally are safe and after the Sh Bair, people expect you to land so they shield grab instinctively.

Fair more (really, SO GOOD vs Peach), and don't use blaster from such close range when you usually have better/safer options. You used a lot of fthrow and I'm not fully sure why, dthrow is generally a better throw to go with, and also remember to get a pummel or two in before you throw your opponent (your grab game overall was pretty good though). Work on your punishes OoS, you have a relatively good shield game but tend to always take defensive measures afterwards when you could punish with something like usmash OoS. Rolling behind Peach whenever she daired your shield looks like a pretty solid way to escape pressure, good calls with that but avoid rolling so often because you were getting read and punished for it a lot in game 2. Don't just run up and reflector, and be careful with grounded reflector overall since it's pretty punishable. Jumping in and shining before you see her try to make an offensive move is usually going to end up badly as well; although shine is great it's usually better for breaking momentum than for going on the offensive. When you have some distance, it's usually good to fire some lasers at Peach, make her approach you instead of approaching her. You have some interesting cross-ups which is nice, something that isn't so evident in many videos. As always, work on spacing. Also work on incorporating uair or FH shine vs Peach, I saw her dair beat you out from above when you went airborne way too many times. For playing calmer, maybe try incorporating some walking into your game, that helps me a bit. Aside from that, maybe listen to music in one ear while playing? I used to do that and it seems to work pretty well.

You jump around and airdodge too much. You're devoting to much time avoiding rather then attacking, especially when Illmatic is leaving himself wide open.

It's like Wolf's forgot what Bair walling was. Peach can't do **** about it.

I got a couple wifi friendlies against Neon's DK uploaded from last night (Why do I always fight DKs?)

Wolf vs. DK 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4mM2l4LpruA
Wolf vs. DK 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DEa_ucBSYbA

We had a lot of matches last night, I just only uploaded 2 of them since uploading more would be kinda useless. I did learn a few things about my gameplay, like I stay in shield too much and get grabbed because of it. My tech skill has also been getting bad lately.

I also have a question about the Wolf vs. Peach matchup, since I played against his peach last night too. Does our Uair beat Peach's Dair, or does her Dair beat our Uair, or are they tied? I went after his Dair with Uair a lot, most of the time it traded hits, one time his Dair beat my Uair, and one time my Uair beat his Dair.

I legit thought it was Js for a solid minute before I read the tag LOL. Peach's dair trades with Wolf's uair, but when you think about it percentage-wise...1-2% from a Peach Dair hit and she eats 10-12% from Wolf Uair LOL. It's definitely a worthwhile trade.

Videos from last night's smashfest.

KRD (Wolf) vs. Leaf (Pikachu) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u3IYF8_N7CM

KRD (Wolf) vs. Illmatic (MK) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r6cFKdTbjQM

I finally learned to be more patient against Pikachu, and I got a lot of tips from Illmatic during our friendlies about the Wolf vs. Peach matchup and how to improve my Wolf, which helped a lot. He was pointing out things that I wasn't noticing that I was doing wrong, like blastering at times when it was too unsafe.

I still mess up reversing my blasters occasionally now though since I've messed up and Side B'd sometimes and so I'm a bit too careful about it now. I think my Wolf is improving though.
