Well, her side B can actually air stall at least once, and you're at the same time launching a "lethal" projectile at your ledge guarder.

Her jumps are decent and so is her air mobility, and the hula hoops will likely act as hit-boxes while she's rising and they will fly up and off of her and act as temporary projectiles above her. It also appears they can go slightly in the direction of your movement, letting you toss them at your ledge guarder.

Also, if it matters at all, her double hit aerial (NAir) was shown with very quick IASA in one clip a while ago, and it has unique diagonal coverage.

Even with those things in mind, she'll likely will still have some trouble recovering. As her options are still not very diverse. But she definitely has good enough recovery capabilities.
Didn't know a couple of these details. They help quite a bit, but I'm not sure it's enough.

Good air and ground mobility.
Very large hitboxes that hit in multiple directions.
Good projectiles and a (seemingly) solid recovery.
Ability to buff moves through Deep Breathing.

I think WTF is gonna be a very solid all around character.

Yeah, It looks like Wii fit trainer will be pretty good. Better watch some things though, it does look like her recovery and move cooldown (< From what I've heard) won't be among the better overall.

But she IS 'shaping up' to be a pretty good looking character otherwise. I at the very least see her being a "viable" (not low tier) character. Her known abilities suggest though, that she could be a lot more.

Miss Fit looks like one of the more no-nonsense playstyle characters, and that's good for me. She's like a re-imagined Marth or Mario on paper, with no overly apparent strengths or weaknesses. Compared to Little Mac's juggernaut playstyle and Rosalina's puppet master style, seeing Miss Fit appear like a standard character and still look great all-around is wonderful.

Definitely going to be my most played newcomer. Strongly inclined to make her my secondary. Can't wait to see how people use her in the E3 tournament.

Quite true. We got to see her full recovery (I may be wrong), and we already have known about her cooldown problem. Naturally, a lot of factors make up for this.

Aside from this...

I'm going to main her (if anyone hasn't guessed already). Her playstyle just seems great, thank god for projectiles, and her quick movements really will seem to suit me.

I just wish we had more specific information about her, although we do know a lot.

Any Souls fans here?

This is what I first thought of when I saw the Direct, so I made this! :awesome:
That's the first thing that popped into my mind as well!

I just love the idea of a melee-based character that mostly uses Specials to augment their normals. I might really hit it off with her.

After watching the 1v1 matches, I'm getting more worried about WFT. She looks to require way more precision than I presumed.

Difficult to use doesn't mean she'l be bad.
Look at how far Olimar went in Brawl, and Pikmin management has always been insanely difficult, yet an important part of its metagame.

I tried Wii Fit Trainer at Best Buy, got 2nd in Sudden Death.

Does that mean I'm a natural?

EDIT: I only tried WFT as a tribute to the WFT Club.

I won every match I played with her thus far. She's simply glorious. Fun to use and easy to get the hang of. I can't wait to master this character; definitely looking like main status for me.

I greatly enjoyed the Wii Fit Trainer. The A combo that leaves the opponent in the ground is going to be a big move for her/him

Makes me wonder if that'll stay. The escape is pretty easy from the pitfall position, but it may seem very dangerous

Let's have a go at it.
Name: Evan (SmashRiver64) [make it Green]
Location: Ontario
Talents: Jumps high, can make pixel-art. (Also very talkative)
Likes: Meat (especially Steak), drawing, Video Games, sleeping and GOTTA GO FAST-ING.
Dislikes: Being told what to do, waiting around, and anything involving the hospital.
Goals: Gain some Weight (I'm 14 and I'm only 85 Pounds. So don't even think about it.), get Taller (Also 4"11'.), become a really likable dude.
Other facts: I guess you could call me a pacifist, but don't expect anything less then backtalk if you yell at me in real life. r_r I'm calm on the internet though, so don't worry about it.
I'm also very hyper at most times.
...Why isn't there a :4wiifitmale: yet? Someone get on that.

So it seems like WFT's Smashes aren't very powerful...
But HOLY BANANA SLAMMA, THOSE JABS AND TILTS WOULD MAKE SSBB IKE CRY FOR MERCY.
And the fact that her 3rd jab can "Pitfall" an enemy?
AND Deep Breathing heals her?
...Yup, she's going to go FAR in the competitive scene... :4wiifit:
EDIT: I also think that's she's the first (and only, so far) character to be able to both Crawl and Walljump at the same time. Every other character can only do one of the two, or neither.

Thinking about it more, she's going to have to deliberately attack at different angles and back attacks.

Xiaoyu confirmed.

I love how her jab finisher grounds the opponent, and considering that SDI seems to be gone this will most likely be a go-to option if it can set up for easy follow ups.

Overall I'm definitely liking what I'm seeing out of her so far.

Whoa, the same thing happened to me. I tried WFT, and I went into sudden death with a Pikachu, but I lost lol.

Anyway, I really couldn't stop laughing at all the moves when I played WFT... like the recovery and spot dodge animation looks hilarious to me. The littlest things make me laugh, and people in line must have thought I was insane. And the grab animation looks awkward too haha.

That being said, as much as I want to main WFT, I really need to spend time with a character, and see if I could get comfortable with their playstyle in order to find a main/secondary/whatever. 2 minutes isn't enough for me, if you get what I'm saying. Here's hoping that I'll enjoy WFT.

And yes, I too would really like some Male WFT (and other costumes like female Villager) artwork, so I could add him as my Smash 4 main in the meantime. Meh.

Her recovery sucks.
Yeah I noticed that, but her jumps are really good. Plus she can stall with Deep Breathing can't she?

Strange cuz in her reveal trailer it looked so good...

Also, anyone notice she doesn't have speaking lines like how she did in her reveal trailer? :\ shame, I actually would've preferred hearing those over grunts

Adding it.

Also, I'm pretty sure no character has shown much of their potential yet. They all are to be extensively tested.

So we have the ability to pivot out attacks now. Picture launching with WFT and then juggling with Pivot FTilt.

A friend of mine asks:

How does the WFT feel, in terms of movement? She seems to slide along the floor a lot; this good or bad, in your opinion?

Just a quick thing I saw on a video,
when someone tried to dash-dance as WFT on the 3DS version, she sorta "twirled" around, and didn't dash at the end of the dance...
Strange.

A friend of mine asks:
In terms of general movement, she seems very fluid and fast, but the only downside for the potential of this is the ending lag of certain attacks.

About sliding along the floor, I'm not sure exactly the purpose of it, but I'm leaning for it to be on the side of it being a good thing. I think it's a representation of her movement (or it's a dash..?).

Sorry for the lack of information.

I never realized she could heal herself with her neutral and down specials, that's cool. And lol at the title of this thread, Deep Breathing Intensifies. :p

Even if she can heal herself with her down special, I don't notice it powering it up her moves, so I'm getting a bit worried.

Oh wow, but I wouldn't worry, they will fix it since that's the whole purpose of that move.

That's planned to happen when the game is actually out and we need a place to talk about her gameplay.
