Who else has received extra wincon "curses"? We got one N1/D2 saying we had to be on a successful lynch that Day. If everybody who's had one claims, that would be lovely.

My role is marshy. Each night, I choose two players, one enters the day with 2 mod votes and the other is unlynchable that day. I didn't do anything N1 because I hadn't read the game, N2/3 are obvious, and I targetted WtT/FML last night but WtT was modkilled.

The reason that I'm not pushing seph is that I highly doubt that he would be able to guess my wincon verbatim, which proves that he has at least some investigation role. I don't see why he would lie about that if he were scum.

Some analysis of Raz:

I don't think I can completely sell myself on Karyscum right now. I don't like the wallpost thing but I don't see malevolent intent behind it. If I were to vote him it'd simply be to wagon at this point. But let's make something more of it.

@Kary: Why should we claim our wallposts?

You outright acknowledge that Townies may very well roleclaim/breadcrumb on the wall, so why would we expose that? Further, you claim that most will be null anyway. If they are, why bother?

I'm not seeing the supposed benefit to the claim here.

Little bit of Kary interest, doesn't make sense as scum to put other scum at arm distance like this, feel like RazScum would be more likely to bus his mate Kary even though he held off on July for a long *** time IIRC.

Quick Notes:

Soup's been blowing off his wagon since the start of the day.

His push on Kantrip in 238/239 is pretty unsubstantiated.

241 is a lot of OMGUS and drilling Kantrip over largely insignificant ****. Kantrip has a tendency to detonate under pressure but usually get lynched anyway,possible scum motivation to get a wagon rolling.

Kantrip reads somewhat Town in that interaction.

254, Hando comes in with a scumread on Kantrip, which I don't see at all here. Calls KantripvSoup SvS? DA FUQ?

No notable contribution by Macman prior to Hangman puzzle.

Overall thoughts and comments:


Kantrip Town for me largely by the vibe of his claim and replacement consideration, I can sympathize with the lack of motivation right now.

Soup, my biggest issue with Hando is his reaction to YouvKantrip.

He came in and said that was SvS and did not substantiate. How that is even REMOTELY possible is beyond me.

WTT pointed out similar things shortly after Hando's post, so we could count on support there. Hando is a wagon I think we can rightfully get rolling.

Kantrip, read over Hando. We need more people to post, but if nothing else we can get this STARTED.

Still defending Kantrip

Underlined: Still slamming away that Kantrip isn't scum and has things like "He came in and said that was SvS and did not substantiate. How that is even REMOTELY possible is beyond me".

Hando scumflip is frustrating for me to sort out. He's a really obvious bus target at this point, so the connections are less valuable. I'd have to go back and re-read earlier communications and who pushed away from Hando on D1/D2 to get a better idea.

Kary has gotten noticeably worse for me. His defense of Hando is nasty, and he's pushing in distracting directions, while trying to undermine both you and Seph, who are my strongest Townreads right now.

I don't like him, but I'm having a hard time seeing scumKary blatantly defending scumHando. If Hando flips Town, scumKary going for "I told you so" points makes more sense to me. I don't see Kary and Hando being the same alignment.

As for the massclaim, I personally don't see a whole lot of benefit to doing so toDay when the lynch is essentially already on the table. I feel like that's putting an unnecessary amount of information on the table for scum.

Today's Lynch order for me: Hando > Kary > FML (Still don't really like that slot.)

Mhm I'll look into this. The thing that stands out to me most out of memory was July saying "WELL AFTER IM LYNCHED AT LEAST KARY CAN GET LYNCHED ON MY TOWN FLIP" which looks like scum distancing to me.

- Karys behavior with the knowledge of him being investigative. Was the manner of him claiming to keep check on Seph out of paranoia? Why does scumKary claim investigative which puts him at odds with a universal townread?
I know why scumKary claims investigative; he crumbed a result in his latest wall post. This is why wall posts are good, because they force people to follow a crumb. He HAD to do it right there.

- How people acted around the Raz lynch. People had him as Town for ****ing unbelievably DUMB reasons. July blatantly called him scummy out of nowhere; I wonder how the other partner would've played that sinking ship.

Now is a good moment to out my gambit. Yes, I only get to learn the first listed win condition. I used this to draw out Dark House, and as soon as Kary "counterclaimed", to draw out specifics there. I was surprised that Kary never claimed that he could only see the first listed, but now he did. So that lines up.

However, Dark House's win conditions still don't line up. Why does his win condition mention that he also needs to complete his global win condition when getting lynched and town winning doesn't clash (that much)?

Now, Kary, how is your role called? If this lines up that's the final piece of the puzzle. With Overswarm's dual-indy tendencies I'm still not sure of your alignment/role.

My scumread on Kary has been around for a while. It was started on my reread aaaages ago.

I thought of the gambit when the day started. I saw that the last sentence was peculiar and decided to do it. I had the gambit in mind for if I ever needed it, though. Just something I thought up.

He crumbed my wincon because he intended to claim winconcop as scum and use the claim to survive? and then I claimed it before him. It lines up because he hasn't crumbed it any other night, being uncommitted to a claim. When it seemed like there was no winconcop with Inferno gone, he could use it.
I just don't like how there are no crumbs and no commitment to the claim even if there is a built in crumb mechanic.

I'd go JTB purely because he can't survive the night if there's even a small chance he's scum/indy. I don't want to gamble the win away when we're probably close at the moment. Also an inactive duder.

I'd go Kary because of the way he treated his role throughout the game. I agree with him on the "non-CC" department. Also, his play.

The optimal route for me would be Dh, not only does lynching him clear the air on the "unlynchable thing" but successive no kills ? Makes me think traitor with no kill as a possibility here.

Even if JTB is scum by lynching DH, if the unlynchable thing is true we keep the numbers advantage and only possibly use one person (and with 2 consecutive no kills, i'm doubting there will be one next nightPhase).

It's as fall through a plan I can think of, this on top of Kantrips' early scummy play and some of Raz's interactions makes me think this is were scum lies. After that me and Orbo have wanted Kary for a long time and that would be the first thing i think we'd explore followed by seph / NH.

I'll be talking to Orbo later at some point to see what he feels is the right play at this point.

I'm currently re-reading specifically believing their is a traitor, I guess i should have made my question : Does Seph make sense as scum to you and how ?

So far there has been some cross-over between July / Raz which is now what I'm checking out now(ISOing them both). Hopefully that goes somewhere.
