I'm not telling you Raz has 42 posts. I'm telling you that of the posts he's made, all of them are garbage and collectively substantiate our read. Marshy expressed his Raz read in 171, and I agree that's already early enough to get a bad taste. You agreed, too.

In 165, and again in 306, you call Raz bad and tell him to start playing the game. These were near the first waves of Raz's posts, the same posts both slots hated. After this, we pursued stronger mutual scumreads in July and Soup, Raz made one post saying he was sick, your slot went MIA. You came back in 609 pushing Hando over Raz (ignoring our July push, w/e), but again agreed Raz was bad. What changed?

Raz catches up in 685, and says "why am I being bashed by NH over Hando?" when it's clear our focus was Soup and July, who he doesn't mention at all. Again in 710, he ignores the plays of the Day, saying "Why am I the target? You're throwing darts at inactives!" which is reactionary BS since, again, our attention is not on Raz at all. You called this a towntell, we call it scummy as balls.

Keep reading yourself, look for fluff and not-really-indignant shouting in place of content, look for questions he doesn't follow up on.


I've made our stance on JTB very clear (last page), and I've shown why he's not the lynch. For DH, he hasn't posted ****-all, but Kantrip was a townread D1, and when I made the Hando/July case Marsh noted that July wrote off his traitor play as straight-up stupid, rather than distancing or anything wishy-washy.

Kevin and I will hook up tonight (really damn late like always) and catch up with the **** from this day phase and everything else we want to say.

Someone asked me why DH.

Setting aside completely the fact that Kantrip was pushed to a claim on Day 1 as I (Ryker) don't remember the circumstances, Kantrip did absolutely nothing but sit on a claim and coast to a replacement. DH replaced in, threw a few sentences in the direction NH's (who has been the most vocal and probably has been the most pivotal player in this game) latest push, then resumed the slot's coasting.

That's his play. That leaves him as a crap shoot, but not as big a crap shoot as Raz and JTB because there is something there to judge. That's not my problem with him at this point.

My problem is with his claim.

For one, he's bobbled it two or three times. Kantrip tripped over it himself and then DH changed it further when a difference between what he said when he replaced in and what Kantrip had said was pointed out. There is also the alternate win con of having to be put at L-2 and not lynched twice, but the win con I'm concerned with is that he has to be night killed. That's our win con. We're Frozenflame and, not only is that our win con, but our win con specifies that we have to be night killed by mafia. That doesn't even mention the nature of his claim which is an "I dare you" for town. It gives him a plausible reason to never die as he has claimed it's how he wins and it gives him a huge reason not to get lynched for fear of town wasting a day phase. This means that, realistically, the only way his slot can lose is by being worthless and not threatening mafia. He's not getting lynched if he's telling the truth. He's unlikely to be lynched twice, so all you have to do is be threatening enough at some point between D1 and LyLo that you get night killed. Kantrip has angry johns and you can make a case for him, but DH has done absolutely nothing since obtaining the slot which is completely contradictory to his win condition.

We're going to read the slot and make absolutely certain that's where we want to go, but that's where we're looking right now. You'll get a post with relevant links to where the claim is bobbled and DH's play this game when I get together with KevMo.

It's worth noting, Hando's wincon was essentially a jester, and doesn't jive in coexisting with DH's either. Their wincons really shouldn't be sharing space on the town side of the setup.

If Ryker could still check out my Raz post, that would be lovely. We're still not sure why you guys started talking about JTB as well, when DH was your lynch and you had actual dirt on him to boot.

1.) You making an image of Raz having 40 some odd posts meant you must've seen that JTB had less than half and you didn't even mention it drives me insane.
2.) Putting JTB on the table allows us to shift the discussion away from you without immediately ringing alarm bells for anyone that could be working with DH. I especially wanted your stance on DH before I did anything else.

I get the point you raise; he's a lot of brawn and hasn't done a lot (even though I disagree with that considering recent events). However, look at his posts and discern his intentions. It doesn't look like he's got ill intent, it was simply bad play.

That was me. This is part of the reason why I want the chess puzzle winner to claim his stuff. I won the number puzzle, the answer was 36, I guessed 100 on a whim. As a result, I got to pick from a multitude of actions. I decided I want Raz dead today, so that's what I picked.
I could modvote someone, make someone perma doublevoter, mason with someone.

I didn't mason because I feel like that wouldn't accomplish much. The only candidate was WtT to me but I feel like, especially at this stage, everyone should be open about most anything and anything I'd want to discuss with WtT I can discuss in thread.
Making someone perma doublevoter is a no-go, my reads don't line up with people enough to do that.
Thus, modvoting is a solid option.

My next post will be post #10, the last post needed before I'm free of the potential modvote by NH, and it will include a vote on Raz.

I reread Raz, and I do get the ickiest of vibes out of his earlier posts. I really see where Nabe is coming from with Pokemaf <> this game. I decided I want Raz dead, for the sake of connections and for the sake of not having him around later. He'll be detrimental, he's scummy and he gives information. It's a perfect lynch. I even told NH I'd join him, so it fits in with that. His posts speak truth.


However, WtT raises good points. The question I have is; do you think DH is lying? In that case, I'll get back to you next post.

Oh ****. I've fallen far, far too behind in this game.

My first wincon is to die (sans modkill.) Unless I fufill my other wincon, if I make it to endgame, I lose. Yeah, I know how I've barley been playing to this one, but I figured that I could try and fulfill my other wincon once we had lynched two scum (because of the fact that I don't have to die, it's "safer," for lack of a better term). I know I've barley been here, that's mainly because me falling behind has snowballed into me falling behind even more and more. As for what I said about "'Having to be lynched," that was because I figured that scum would want to kill me much less if I had said that I would have to die instead of just be lynched.

Also, I support the wall on DH. It never has set well with me either, especially since it has flip flopped a couple times. Okay, so I've talked to Kevin. We didn't go digging through the thread so much as just make sure our heads were screwed on the same way seeing as he had to stop Kanye from getting in the zone at 3AM.

@OS - Is that mod vote on Raz permanent or does it evaporate with the day phase?

I think it's permanent because he said permanent and that leads one to believe it is permanent, which is a ****ty thing. Raz is not our priority one. DH remains our priority one because, yes Seph, we do think he is lying. However, we get ONE safety net lynch and Raz is it because that modvote makes him a permanent risk of alpha strike if we take hypothetical town Raz into LyLo. We get DH tomorrow, independent of Raz's flip.

Also, don't forget to mass claim roles.

Doc should take his pick between Seph and FML. Either of them are a warm body in a slot we aren't gonna lynch.



My to-do list right now reads:

1.) NH 1607 (still important even if we go Raz).
2.) Kantrip/DH claim quotes.

I can nail those without Kevin now that I've had a chance to talk to him and I'll get them over the course of the day. Add to that list if there's something I need to do.
