For me myself personally, the internet doesn't matter. But when people meet me they know what I've said and how I feel about certain things. SWF is a large part of the community. Believe it or not, you do have a reputation, and when people eventually do meet you the only thing they know about you is that you make them miserable 3 or 4 times a day as they check the boards.
