Interesting to see they're giving Carol her long hair back.

Either way, I'm pretty hyped for this movie. It's a bold move to have three leads in one film but Monica was cool from her parts in Wandavision and I heard nothing but good things about Kamala's character. If they can balance their relationships with Captain Marvel, this has the potential to be something special.

I'm still getting caught up on DC's comics, but it seems like they believe that the only way to fix the numerous continuity problems caused by the previous reboot is to reboot it again, because this time, it will definitely fix it!

I don't know how many times they've erased the entire multiverse outside of one universe, only to bring it back again when certain characters' backstories become absurdly convoluted without it, only to erase it again once the existence of multiple universes becomes too much for people to follow, etc.

I assume Dark Crisis/the Death of the Justice League is leading into another reboot?

they’re doing another reboot after Dark Crisis finishes up next month…but that reboot will be right after another massive world changing storyline called Lazarus Planet. Pretty much from Dark Crisis to Lazarus Planet to Dawn of the DC Universe (aka the rerererere…re…re…re…reboot). And to think they’ve been doing this since either the 40s or 60s, I have no idea how or why they continue to do so many reboots.

However he is very disconnected from the creative teams from the likes of Lucasfilm, Marvel Studios and especially with Pixar on what and where each project is headed to. This move had actually alienated Pixar mostly that saw three of the films being released on Disney+.

Tbf, the name Captain Marvel in itself has been stepped on since 1941 by DC before they would own the characters within the series in 1972…but couldn’t really keep the name due to Marvel creating their Captain Marvel inbetween that.
