My grandfather passed away due to Alzheimers years ago........That is something that can't be taken lightly.

Ok so update my dumbass didn't realize that they used the Legends Arceus style of learning moves where the game instead keeps all learnable moves in a bank which you can access freely via the menu.


Anyways, Hoppip, YOU are first one off the team

Real talk, one of my greatest fears is finding out if i have Alzheimer's.

My grandparents on my fathers side dont have it, late 80's and they're minds are still as clear as always, but my mother was essentially abandoned at a young age and i know nothing of her parents, so i dont know what kind of genetics their side has and that thought keeps me up at night a lot.

On a side note, that Chris Helmsworth stuff sucks. Hopefully he’s able to stay healthy. He seems like a pretty nice guy irl and even if he wasn’t, going through that is one of the worst possible things to see. Having seen extended family myself suffer from it, I hope I never contract that and that we can one day find a way to treat these poor people afflicted by such a terrible disease.

Yeah, Alzhiemers is scary as hell, to my knowledge my Grandma may have it due to self inflicted dementia, and its just sad to see her in the state she is now. The rest of my extended fam seem to have never gotten it, but if I do eventually then well... yeah

I beat the first Titan in Clawff. Arven’s story right now is pretty intriguing. I like how each of these stories setup fun mysteries and there’s an actual good plot progression. I can’t wait to see where it goes.

Also the regional birds typing is not what I would have expected, but it’s pretty good.

Ok so my main issue is its pokemon and I know its gonna be a easy game. Thats whats holding me back. The only hard part it seems in pokemon is E4 and you can only fight them once in this game

The first 3 are looking to be permanent members. Mankey is a maybe and the other two are placeholders for whenever I get the Pokémon I want instead.
I beat 2 gyms, 2 titans, and one team star leader so far.

On an unrelated note I stubbed my toe against one of my sister's shoes and it hurts like hell. Had to stop myself from accidentally waking my parents up.

Also I don't know much about Alzheimer but I hope Chris Hemsworth will be ok

Atm, only Quaxwell, Capsakid and P-Wooper are main stays, Pawmi, Lechonk, and Tarountula ere getting replaced. I was planning on keeping Pawmi, bup sadly it evolves into a fighting type and I have that niche filled with Quaxwell's evo

I’m having a blast with this game so far the random behaviors you find Pokémon doing in the over world is very cool

The only time performance issues were that noticeable to me was when i played sonic boom for masochisms sake so im not really the best reference point for that kind of stuff

I also found a shiny mareep which is neat

I do enjoy the sense of exploration, I was trying to to the gym challenges first but then lost my way and somehow had a Titan boss fight.
