"I think I'm gonna start watching Adventure Time. I know nothing about this series but it seems weirdly bright and colorful."

The lore:

As much as I think the original series started becoming more flawed in Season 5, Adventure Time's storytelling is overall insanely good.

I still think it can be credited for helping usher in a new era of serialized animated shows, not to mention animated shows that start out lighthearted and maybe more episodic, before developing a more serious and overarching story.

Ok which is funnier? Modern day “grown up” Johnny bravo as a washed up overweight man who sold the image of his younger self to be used as the mascot for a dating app? Or modern day Johnny Bravo is Andrew Tate but pathetic?

"Andrew Tate but pathetic"

Implying Tate isn't already that.

Johnny Bravo would hate Andrew Tate and anyone like him. Yes he was obsessed with chasing girls, but he never resented the women who rejected him and he would not be down with all that incel stuff. His mama taught him better.

That’s fair. I was just trying to think of the modern version of his whole “so self centered and rude that nobody wants to date him despite his physical beauty” thing but you’re right. It doesn’t really work.

He should have a dating guru YouTube channel. He makes videos giving single guys advice on how to date, but his advice sucks and every video ends with the girls he’s trying to talk to beating him up.

Lately I've been feeling like too much of my screentime is mindless, so I'm trying to cut down on screentime forcefully and do other things. I'm hoping this will also retrain my brain and improve my attention span as that has definitely taken a hit in recent years.

Today I went screenless from noon to night. No TV, laptop, phone, nothing. Walked to the park, went swimming, did cleaning, brushed my cat, and read some manga and books. It was weird but definitely felt good, like time traveling back to the 90s. I don't think I'll regularly cut back to that extreme level, but likely try to shoot for a couple of hours a day. I already mindlessly scroll at work, I don't need to do that at home either.

my office, probably
I've been watching videos about One Piece SH Figuarts. They look so good but

This is my reaction to knowing I can't afford them with the way I currently collect so I'll have to actually be smart about my spendings

Somewhere out there on this big blue marble
People are excited about the concept of a Persona 4 remake until they realized Yuri lowenthal is still on strike so yosuke may or may not be voiced or recast. And that strike isnt ending anytime soon
Idk specifics about the strike for studios or companies but I'll be honest, seeing as the P3 cast all got their roles replaced beyond Elizabeth, chances are Yosuke would be recast as well
