After taking a very long break from video games (besides Rivals here and there), I'm ready to pick up a controller yet again. Right now, here's the order I wanna go in:

Finish Mario RPG
(Re)play TTYD (but this time the remake) (I love that game way too much)
Do the Smaller Games on the Switch to break up the RPGs, so Megaman X collection 1, Castlevania Advance Trilogy
Then can come FF9

After that, move on to my PS4:
I can try to finish KH3's DLC but that may be a side project
Persona 5

And on my PC:
Chrono Trigger
Portal 1 and 2
I can try Stardew but yeah lol that's gonna be a time eater
I think there was another game but I forgot


Then back to my PS4:
Yakuza 0
Ghost of Tsushima
Horizon

Day 41: Primal Kyogre

ORAS was revealed at such a weird time. It was like 4 AM and I was still awake (because my sleep schedule was terrible) and I a youtube video dropped on the Pokemon Youtube channel out of nowhere. If I was sleeping like a normal person I'd have totally missed it.

By the way, Primal Kyogre in Mystery Dungeon Rescue Team DX is NO joke. That thing almost beat me down to naught the first time I faced it. Water Spout is scary...

Of course if you have a Beedrill with high-power Twinneedle and Pin Missile plus Laser Focus and Swords Dance with Rapid Bulls-Eyes on your team, that's not an issue

Almost done with Mega Man Battle Network 2, at least the main story. Did the 6 boss re-fights. It was a bit annoying in the 2nd half since I have an Aqua and a Heat style. So I had to choose which bullet to bite when fighting either Freezeman or Magnetman. Turns out barely surviving Magnetman was the better option since Aqua's chargeshot is fast enough to make Freezeman kind of a joke. No Shadowman re-fight, but I know you get to fight him in Undernet 5, so he's a post game deal.

that’s why I mentioned they loaned the feh characters out, because I remember that dragalia crossover.

This is an interesting point though, as I wonder if they did collabs so frequently because it was an original IP made for mobile and not an existing franchise.

Wanna know why some Pokemon like Persian, Primeape, Malamar and others are so sadistic? Primalum corrupted their minds. Wanna know who melded the broken minds of Giovanni, Archer, Cyrus, Ghetsis, Lysandre and Volo? Yup, it was Primalum designing the most sadistic human minds it could in the hopes it could cause endless misery to the world.

This would obviously be a mythical Pokemon, and it could be introduced in any region.

Yes, it's a cat. Because not only would it explain a lot of sadistic felines like Persian, Purugly and Liepard, but also...the good god is a llama. Why not make room for a cat god?

I'm actually really fond of how these came out. I'm honestly kind of scared of doing their final forms of how much I ended up liking these.

But yes, here are your middle stage starters with their sparkly new types!

Honestly an official Water/Ghost starter is probably inevitable at this point with how much GameFreak has been obsessed with ghost-types lately. My prediction is that either Legends ZA or Gen 10 will have a Water/Ghost starter. But honestly I love how mine ended up looking. That there is a true "emo teen".

And at last! I've finished the fully-evolved forms of each of these Pokemon!

Behold! Your fully-evolved starters for my logo-inspired region!

Now, aside from the theming of really old company logos (Gaumont Film Company, Decla Film and Oz Film Company respectively), I ended up with a really nice theme here: the theme of girl power! All three of these starters (though Grass and Water more than Fire) exhibit feminine traits and represent powerful female archetypes: a women who can keep peace among those she cares about, a strong mother raising her young, and a powerful female spirit wandering the ghostly realm and protecting herself. To that end, all three of these starters would flip the usual starter gender ratio on its head, with seven females to one male rather than vice versa.
