I'd still like to know if Microsoft plans to bring Killer Instinct Gold to NSO, how will the controls be handled because the Pro Controller and handheld mode will simply not work the single controls option the app gives you.
Your options will be
1. Use the N64 controller
2. Remap controls in the settings
3. Deal with it

At least your family believes dinosaurs were real, right?

.......right?
They're not THAT religious lol. They've eased up a bit after leaving the last church (my mom realized it was a cult), but I have gripes with the one they go to now because, though not culty, it's very political.

My dad's a facebook boomer though, which is a shame. Love the man but he's gotta lay off the news from the 5th page of google.

Game Awards Best Fighting Game of 2022, y'all!

I wanted to give the game a chance but they dropped the ball HARD on its downright awful monetization along with other fumbles.

Multiversus has some of the most missed potential I've seen in a while.

I just can't believe they made a game with Samurai Jack, Raven, Jason Voorhees and Marceline and then had the gameplay be incredibly unfun and worse than the beta.

All churches are cults, no if, ands or buts about it and there is no changing my mind

I won't say that MultiVersus' doom was at the fault of the developers at Player First Games as they've shown that this was a passion project to them. It's no doubt the greedy higher-ups who don't know how to make a live-service game are to blame.

Time for some Fortnite collab updates:

This first one ties into the news of Multiversus shutting down. Basically because of Multiversus Warner paused all Fortnite collabs. Since December, we got a bevy of DC skins back (including two new ones), plus the Rick & Morty skins. Now that Multiversus is gone for good, expect more DC collabs in the future.

As for the rest:

Another Iron Man skin is coming. This one will have many variants, one of which is themed after Dr. Doom.
Batman Zero, Catwoman Zero, Green Arrow, and Rebirth Raven are now Lego usable. In addition, every single vehicle is potentially getting ported to Lego.
Jujutsu Kaisen Wave 2 is coming. Only hint is “Ryomen Sukana”.
Avatar (the Disney one) will get Jake and Neytiri’s Banshees as gliders.

Multiversus isn’t the only game getting delisted.

Dragon Quest XI X Echoes of an Elusive Age Definitive Edition will be delisted from the eshop soon.

This should be temporary as I assume it is a publisher change.

Down to just 19 Pokemon for my Kanto Dex.... and I haven't launched LGPE once.

I'm feeling pretty good about my odds, even if GTS trades for LGPE Pokemon take forever to go through.

Yeah Multiversus ****ed around and found out. From the slower gameplay, grind, pay-to-win. Mid ass roster, the whole nine-yards. no Scorpion or Sub-Zero or Daffy Duck. Wasting ****** time with Banana guard. No Neo, no Dexter. Truly a fumbled game.

Uh, what? I can't find anything about that online. They delisted the old version in 2020.

No Ben 10 either. They had one of Cartoon Network's most iconic franchises... and didn't put it in the game. That's a flat out bad decision.

Yeah, Ben I understand at least, probably would cost some money to get a handful of transformation into a single character.

The real killer of Multiversus is the monetization. Who wants to play a fighting game where you have to pay real money for almost every fighter in the game?
For sure. Unlike Fortnite where it's just visuals, characters have moves and mechanics. Had they made a physical version with the launch roster just as is, like the Nick games, it'd be alright but nah.

I just need to know how much of the game Warner ****ed over for things to be this bad…

also sad that this is one of the last 2 games Kevin Conroy’s voice will ever be used on Batman for the rest of our lives

Sad but not surprising. I assume WB is the reason why they shoved monetization into every little corner of the game, which was a big reason why it turned people away. Then you had all those people who were like “but they give free skins”, which is honestly a joke. The free content compared to other games vs the monetization was horrendously off balance.

And other games gave free content way more often and without locking it behind hours of the same repetitive cycle to maybe get the character or skin you want; and without dangling 6 skins you’ll never be able to get because FOMO and they cost real money.

Combining that with the fact we know from leaks at least 30 other characters were in varying stages of development( several of them finished) and yet they made poor roster choice after poor roster choice; and the game died out faster understandably so.

They kept teasing some of the most requested characters like Dexter, only to do absolutely nothing with them. Which only angered fans more. If they had even one of those at launch, they could have stood a better chance.

Like I said it sucks, because I did play a lot of it, But both WB and PFG really screwed up in their handling of this game. Which is a shame because PFG seemed to care and have a lot of great ideas and content coming, they just didn’t learn their lesson from the first shutdown.

Add the release of marvel rivals stealing most games player bases and it’s really not hard to have seen it coming. I really want to know what the hell their roadmap was for this game, if they even had one.

Hopefully we can see the game concept revisited in future and done way better.

It's an interesting universe.... If you focus on the right parts of it. Kotor 1, 2 and Republic Commando are all cool as hell entries into the universe, but it feels like Star Wars plays things too safe nowadays. "Here's Tatooie/another desert planet. Here's yet another New Hope prequel story. Here's some Jedi lore that doesn't really matter. Here's a filler story between the OG trilogy and the Disney one."
I don’t think that stuff really cuts to the issue Star Wars has compared to the MCU. You can have a Marvel movie about the fate of the multiverse and a Marvel movie about a divorced ex-convict trying to steal money for his daughter. There’s a range of scale in Marvel stories that is acceptable that isn’t in Star Wars. SW has a minimum scope and setting that people expect.

Started my Sonic marathon. I'm playing a bunch of Sonic games, including both games I've played and ones I haven't.

Starting with the very first game, Sonic the Hedgehog, a game I have finished before. I'm currently on Labyrinth Zone and I lowkey want to kill someone, oh my god I forgot how bad this game can be after Green Hill.
  • Marble Zone is irredeemable garbage. It is such a ****ing whiplash to go into this Bowser's Castle ahh level that feels like it wants you to do anything but go fast, who the **** thought this was a good second level
  • Spring Yard Zone is better because it actually lets you go fast for extended periods of time but it still has those annoyingly slow platforming sections that I distinctly remember singling out when I first played this game as an example of how confused the vision for this game feels. It's almost good but it has just enough bull**** including a garbage boss fight that it leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth
  • Labyrinth, if the fact that it's a water level wasn't enough, feels like it wants to **** with you. There's multiple placements of objects in this game that lead you directly into your doom, including springs that lead you to a platform/spike instakill collision. What the **** is this Kaizo Mario **** doing in a Sonic game. Somehow I managed to make it into the Eggman chase but then I ran out of oxygen and gave the **** up (I'll pick it back up tomorrow)
Maybe IGN were right, Sonic was never good /j

Well, Sonic 1 was the first Sonic game, so there is bound to be issues that may have been improved in later games. That said...

I think Marble Zone is an underrated level.
