Say what you want about 'em. Rise of Skywalker had tons of issues and should've been so much better, but I liked both the Force Awakens and The Last Jedi.

The Lego video game pretty much solved the one issue I had with the latter film (that being the whole backstory with Luke fearing that Ben was turning to the Dark Side), but other than that, I thought it was great. Rise of Skywalker just rushed through everything and didn't really have most character arcs completed in a way that made sense or make good use of the series' lore.

at this stage in my life the only thing I remember about RoS is the amount of seizure inducing scenes they had just for Palpatine alone…and then TLS was merely a dark reminder of how I was tricked by TFA into Finn becoming a Jedi and how they got away with toying with my innocent teenage emotions

Valentines Day nearing, so I just wanna say that on a personal note, it's funny that I was forbidden to date someone outside my old church cause that was the rules there (and by consequence, the rules of the house I grew up in) for the vast majority of my life, and now I get questioned why I'm socially awkward around cute girls and still single.

I like how it's normal hidden ability was so good they didn't bother changing it.

Oh yeah did 10 pulls on both new sets in Pocket. My Palkia ones were bad but my other ones:

came in clutch. I love the full art on this one. Dialga just over looks the universe as time passes on. They did a great job animating it. So I can’t complain here. got the full art for Shaymin too, which is one of my favorites currently.

I'm glad there's an easy way for me to use Blaziken's Hidden Ability. Outside of Dexnav my beloved, it's pretty hard to get my hands on Pokemon with their hidden abilities, which especially stinks because they're usually (usually stares at Durant) super good.

I feel Disney's biggest issue with Star Wars is treating it like it's the MCU.

It's not and now there's way too many Star Wars projects that nobody asked for

There are 27 days to Pokemon Day, and in addition to likely news on Pokemon Legends ZA...my big hope is an announcement for Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky DX! It's one of my favorite Pokemon games, and with how addicted I've been to Rescue Team DX, I'm hoping that we'll finally have a remake of Rescue Team's sequel waiting in the wings.

So like Noi, I'm gonna go through one PFP every day of all of PMD:EOS' starters and a few of its most major characters. All art is taken from the Trading Card Game.

Starting with Day 1: Bulbasaur!

If EOS DX is real it'll be a lot easier to use grass starters given there aren't five bajillion flying-type bosses like in Rescue Team

It's an interesting universe.... If you focus on the right parts of it. Kotor 1, 2 and Republic Commando are all cool as hell entries into the universe, but it feels like Star Wars plays things too safe nowadays. "Here's Tatooie/another desert planet. Here's yet another New Hope prequel story. Here's some Jedi lore that doesn't really matter. Here's a filler story between the OG trilogy and the Disney one."

I was talking Star Wars with some friends recently and one really recommended The Mandalorian. I still haven't checked it out because what's the point when everything just goes to **** anyway in the canon.

Star Wars is a super interesting universe, Disney is just not interested in showing the facets that make it interesting that people aren't already familiar with.

I used to have a lot of enthusiasm for Star Wars but the franchise has been washed for a while now, whenever they put out something good it turns out to be a fluke

This also reminds me that I checked out the two Ewok films earlier this month. They weren't terrible. They weren't anything special either but as some TV movies for kids in the 80s they were watchable.

The second was kind of bizarre though because it begins with everyone in the human family aside from the daughter being killed off. It was like a less infuriating Alien 3.

Also Clone Wars is my favorite part of Star Wars so it's super cool how every cancelled arc that didn't make it into season 7 is being just straight up ignored by the canon, love that

Ahsoka surviving isn't something I mind on paper, she's my favorite character and has a ton of potential post-Clone Wars even if it doesn't entirely make sense. Just a shame that after Rebels they turned her into a generic Wise Old Jedi Master when it literally contradicts the entire point of her character arc

All three current seasons of The Mandalorian are very much worth the watch. I highly recommend giving the show a shot as well.

I did like Boba Fett's show overall, it just...really needed more Boba Fett.

The showdown with Cad Bane also would've been cooler and made more sense if they had more interactions in the animated shows that didn't get cut, but that's less of a fault of this specific show itself, imo.

I played Card Saga Wars again. They added a handful of stages, which is pretty cool. Mega Man X is still the character I like the most. I haven't done too many crazy combos, just some fairly standard stuff. It's also cool that Dracula Soma and Dark Link are bosses in the Arcade mode, though I don't know how mechanically different they are. Crono seems really good, and Samus isn't too bad either, if not pretty slow compared to Mega Man X, who seems like a problem in any range. Ivy's weird, but I guess that's to be expected. Part of me wishes I could pick my assist instead of it being random.

I'd still like to know if Microsoft plans to bring Killer Instinct Gold to NSO, how will the controls be handled because the Pro Controller and handheld mode will simply not work the single controls option the app gives you.
