Rumor has it, it’s exactly the opposite.

Which honestly makes way more sense imo. Because how did like half the mega evolutions magically disappear in modern day or go undocumented?

It being in the future works way more because logically the ultimate weapon would create new mega forms as it was implied in XY.

So we will have to wait and see for sure but it does seem like its future set.

IMO Dialga is going to be the most meta defining since he can benefit not only the one Steel deck (melmetal) but also Colorless decks like Wiggly EX or Pidgeot EX

In my head I can already see the Melmetal-Dialga-MI Tauros combo. Add some Giovanni’s and you can slay almost every EX deck, except the Kanto starters.

There’s signs pointing to the past. Rumors saying it’s the future. Nothing solid just yet.
