$60 is a really tough pill to swallow for a remaster that does the absolute bare minimum tbh.

I actually still own my copy of the game for Wii that I haven't gotten around to playing yet, so I might just go that route whenever I'm ready.

People really shouldn’t be surprised if they just shadow drop the reveal.

It’s not that farfetch’d given nintendos history and the fact the console has basically been announced anyway.

I think if this announcement is real, whenever it may be, will just be a less than one minute video showing that the console exists and ends with a "Tune in on this date for the full reveal presentation"

I’m skipping it.

I already have the 3DS version from Club Nintendo. 10 years later and I still haven’t beaten it. I’d like to someday.

Started a game called Sanabi. I can say that the grappling hook mechanic and physics are fun while diving into a story. So far, met Justice.....a mysterious female mercenary with a class 3 grade camoflage samurai robot.

(BTW, if you only end up getting one of them, get Tropical Freeze. It's way way better. And it's got Funky Mode.)

Honestly exactly what it will probably be. Which is why it doesn’t need an announcement ahead of time. There was never going to be a direct for it at this point. That will come next month without a doubt.

So I don’t know why people are going so crazy over this lol.

Tbh I'm looking forward to the Switch 2 cause my Switch is starting to get old, the metallic side of one of the joycons is fading which sometimes get screwy and the fan sometimes gets too loud for my liking so an upgrade would make for a good way to repair it. Also because I am salivating at the thought of Jugdral remakes

Same herre, If I slightly jostle the right joycon it detaches from the console. It makes playing handheld sometimes completely impossible. It might be a joy-con problem, but this is my third pair and the only pair that doesn't drift.

I just need to see any software, and if it's the Jugdral remakes that would be pretty cool because then I would be playing them for the first time (outside of a period where I played Thracia for a bit on my phone back in high school, but I never played Genealogy)

Later down the line for sure, it and TTYD are the only Switch games I plan on buying until Prime 4 and Legends ZA come out but I'm broke and have a bunch of games I need to finish first

I think part of the problem is that us nerds are stereotyped as so smart. Aggrieved entitlement and all that.

I know when I was a kid a lot of the adults in my life tried to told me it didn't matter because I'd be their manager one day, but it turns out being socially ostracized by your peers and having your mental health problems brushed off by authority figures isn't a great recipe for success. And I can't help but wonder how many cis boys with low support needs autism or adhd got told the same thing when they were being bullied and internalized it fully. It makes me kind of sad.

If I'm honest I do have some MRA brainworms that come out when I'm in a really bad mood or come across a terfy twitter feminist. Thankfully I never went down that pipeline for a number of reasons. But sometimes I wonder if I did get sucked down it in another timeline.

I'm sticking with Nikoderiko: The Magical World for my DKC fix, plus I am fine with my Wii copy.

It seems obvious to me because if I'm being honest, 100% speed running sounds kinda miserable to me. Even an any% speed run takes a ton of practice and mental stamina and those are waaaay shorter.

Shout out to Baten Kaitos. The world record for 100%ing that game is 338 hours. That is not a typo.
