Not even a transformers fan and it's definitely my top 11 from last year.

I've been seeing people thinking if the rumors of Halo: The Master Chief Collection coming to Switch 2 are true, they think Master Chief then has a chance to join Smash.

He was possible ever since Microsoft started supporting the Switch 1 (personally I don't care if he does).

Well, I beat Shadowman version 1 and got Colorman 2. So now I need 1 more Pharoahman and one more Colorman at least. But I guess that'll depend if I still want to grind out the last few battle chips outside of the boss ones to go fight Bass or if I want to cheese it with Buster Max(I kind of don't for a first playthrough, even if the actual game itself has been beaten.) Or if I want to get to MMBN2. I saw they have star chips, which should make putting together a loadout a little easier.

Well, there's no gameplay footage of it yet, but judging from the two trailers that have been released for it so far, you might see a concept like that from this game:

I know I posted this once the other day, but it popped up in my feed while I was watching some TF2 horror videos and now I can't help but wonder how the heck the actual game itself is going to turn out. The trailer is avoiding the trap a lot of other mascot horros have fallen into so far by having the mascots...actually look and act like they're from something intended to entertain a young audience, that only later somehow ended up getting cursed or corrupted, instead of an uncanny mess from the start that makes most people immediately question how it ever got popular within the story's universe in the first place.

I'm stuck! I've been trying to come up with a good villainous team for Purore (my own Poke-region), something that can measure up to greats like Galactic, Plasma and Flare...but I have NO idea what I should base said evil team around.

I love my own team, Team Flora. But a lot of that idea is based within Hoenn specifically to compliment Team Magma and Team Aqua (and Team Sky), and besides, a 'kill EVERYBODY' plot has been done before. Granted though, it has been a few gens since we've had a uniform established team of many people rather than groups of delinquents, and returning to a Team Galactic-style goal would be somewhat fresh.

Again though, Flora fits best in Hoenn.

My best current idea is a team that focuses on misanthropy - showing a hatred of humans and believing Pokemon are better off without us, and thus wants to use some random Legendary to kill all humans (even themselves) so Pokemon have cart-blanche to run around. So essentially think of an apocalypse cult.

I mean honestly even by just the anime's standards I wouldn't even call that crush the weirdest thing that's happened so far, but I'm still going to make fun of weird heteronormativity when I see it.

They coulda just given Chikorita a crush on Bulbasaur, but I guess that poor bulb already has Heracross to deal with.

I watched a video earlier today compiling famous Pokemon anime roasts, and a lot of them were just Ash straight-up insulting Misty to her face.

Honestly? Looking back on the anime, I don't think you could really even class them as 'friends' until much, much later in the OG series.

Though Misty could occasionally act like she has a big crush on him...even though she other times insults, belittles and berates him...

I REALLY hate the tsundere trope. May was a breath of fresh air.

1. anything is possible

2. all the little “unspoken rules” that the community thought Nintendo followed are simply not true.

3. sakurai (and whoever will take his place) are straight up told by higher ups to add characters into the game that he didn’t want…….Steve.

I just checked my 2017 flatscreen tv and it doesn’t have RCA hookups . I can’t imagine TVs made and sold 7 years later in 2024 (soon 2025) have RCA hookups. What brands still make this?

I’ll never forget my final Pokemon episode. In order to defeat a tree full of Spearos and a boss Fearow, Ash’s Pidgeotto evolved into Pidgeot. Ash busted out the pokedex to scan his new powerhouse and it stated that Pidgeot can fly/attack at Mach 2 (1,534 mph or 2468 kph) aka 2x the speed of sound. Pidgeot easily crushed the trash birds and saved the day. By the end of the episode, Ash got rid of Pidgeot.

Ash is such a fukcing moron. From sending Charizard to a slave farm, to letting his butterfree get into an
Arranged Marriage, to never shoving a thunder stone down Pikachu throat and then setting free Pidgeot to defend a dumb tree……it was angering.

I never watched another Pokemon episode again

And I respect yours too. You're probably stronger than I - I just get tired of belligerent sexual tension REALLY fast. I'm a simple girl who just prefers extremely sappy mutual pining and blushing and stuttering and friends-to-lovers and stuff like that.

And to be fair, I don't hate EVERY tsundere. There are some truly great ones, like my GOAT

Total Drama in general does tsundere characters very well, but I won't spoil too much cuz my memory recalls that you haven't watched the show. I'd hate to spoil it!

Right, Maria's character really likes punching you in the heart.

There are parts where I think the game could be more unique but there's so much thought put into the world and culture - I think it's the highlight of the game for me.

I feel like it helps that I'm not much of a romance gal, so most of my exposure to tsunderes is outside of that genre. Nami for example is a very good tsundere, it plays into her backstory which establishes that she pushes people away because she thinks she needs to face everything on her own so that no one has to endure the pain she's going through. Also while she hits her crewmates, it's clear that she cares and loves them a lot (they're coded as a found family).

It's also funny to see Luffy still cower before her even when he's considered one of the strongest characters in the story

I mean, as I just outlined a trope can be done well and if it's used by a creator with actual artistic intent it can elevate a story. So I disagree with the notion that the trope shouldn't be used at all

9 times out of 10 Ash and Misty's fighting felt more like playful banter then genuine mean-spiritedness to me.

It definitely started feeling more like fun banter later on like in Johto and Misty's future appearances. Character development! To my memory though, earlier episodes could get NASTY.

Like, Misty did NOT take it well whenever Ash's less-than-stellar sense of direction got the trio lost. I feel for Brock in these moments, the poor guy has to deal with two people who would be ready to kill each other if Misty insulted Caterpie one more time (this isn't related but Misty could be outright MEAN to Caterpie at times, big siding with Ash there)

To be fair though, Misty's bite is something VERY unique to the earlier seasons, and the breezier later seasons generally lack that when Team Rocket isn't in the picture (May turns into Slay very quickly when Team Rocket steals her damn food). Then again TPC did try a more banter-y female companion later in BW, but...

In all seriousness yeah, Iris' schtick could get old and Misty could at least mix up her banter.
