Yeah. There are hidden pipes in the world maps that lead to separate areas where you can talk to him. He gives you a Wonder Seed.

Spoilers for what he actually says ahead:

He acts like he doesn’t recognize you though, which is dumb. Give me my continuity, Nintendo!

Unless they’re trying to pull a Sonic and the 2D and 3D games are different universes, which I really hope isn’t the case.

It sucks we finally get a new King Kong game and it's labeled the worst game of this year.

The Eighth Wonder of the World deserves better than this.

Speaking of which, we're seriously overdue for a new Godzilla fighting game. Whether in general or MonsterVerse.

The way Sonic Origins and Superstars handles this is by letting you get medals with 100 rings which can be used as an ingame currency, maybe you get like 20 purple coins or something with 100 regular ones?

Problem is, what would you then spend that currency on in Wonder?

I make it make sense with Daisy and Nabbit since they’ve never been onscreen together…or perhaps Captain Toad has taken so many hits to the head and snorted so much toxic fumes that he’s forgetting things

only badge I feel is worth it is the hat glide…and I’m hoping the Spider-Man vine thing is perfect as well

I feel the cap glide will make you miss platforms and thus make you not get to the end in time

The vine i feel just wouldnt help at all

The next Smash has a Mario Wonder stage. It's based off the first level, and a minute or so into the match the stage gets all trippy as you'd expect.

But, there are Talking Flowers in the stage. And they have a line for every single character. Kinda like the titles in the boxing ring, or really really short versions of Palutena's Guidance.

So far, I think the best badges are the Parachute Cap, and all the High Jump badges.

I can't find a use for the wall jump badge, it just ruins the flow imo.

It had me thinking. Since Godzilla Minus One is essentially a remake of the original 1954 film.

Like they don't have to exactly show a flashback or anything (Man what a budgeting nightmare that would be) but rather the characters discovers a graveyard of Godzilla skeletons somewhere in the ocean where nuclear tests took place. This being the motivation and reason for why Godzilla had been attacking Japan.

More likely they would save that for Mario Maker 3. Though the director leaving Nintendo does put the series in question, which is a huge shame as Mario Maker 2 is one of my favorite Switch games.
