A new Sonic rep would be cool. I'd vote Eggman.

And yeah, Gill Grunt DOES sound like he would be fun. I also kind of want Conker from Conker's Bad Fur Day, who is a Rareware character, but I guess it would not hurt to want someone like Gill Grunt more now?

Legit though I'd just rather focus on how good EVO announcements have been. DBFZ getting rollback, 5 new KOF characters, SamSho getting rollback, Garou 2, Bridget coming out of the closet, Kimberly being the most fun original character Street Fighter had in a while, Tekken 8 happening and Juri ruining my twitter. All around a good time for fighting game fans

Alright guys, my predicted roster for Smash Switch:
Cuts:
  1. All Fire Emblem except Marth, Ike, and Robin (and that's being generous). Sakurai said too many FE with Corrin and nobody likes FE too many characters and it's just coomer bait for coomers. Not as big as Mario or Pokemon.
  2. Dark Pit, I mean why just why
  3. Dr. Mario, clone, waste of a slot. Make him an alt.
  4. Greninja, Gen 6 is irrelevant, will be replaced by Decidueye
  5. Cloud, stingy Square Enix. Also, FF7 has no connection to Nintendo so one timer like Snake.
  6. Toon Link. Just another Link.
Add:
  • Skull Kid. Majora's Mask was cool, Skull kid is popular.
  • K. Rool. Sakurai has to PROVE he doesn't hate DK with this addition (and that is a fact that he hates DK and not am argument I made up in my head).
  • Banjo. Won the ballot. Too bad Microsoft won't play ball.
  • Geno. Will obviously get upgraded to a fill fledged fighter. Look at the fan demand, we got tens and tens of people.
  • Isaac. He invented gravity. Also because new Golden Sun rumors he has to be in.
  • Decidueye. He will get in cause Gen 7.
  • Spring Man and Rex. Switch duo

The fact they're basically doing a bunch of standalone directs shows that they don't have enough content for a general one, but have enough for game-specific ones.

I mean the partners direct back in June(July?) was pretty much the same caliber as a general direct with a bunch of bombshell announcments. I'm thinking they're done with General directs for a good while

So, anyway, I got a scathing hot opinion on the whole Bridget scenario


Wasn't the point of Bridget acting and dressing like a girl because their parents FORCED them to act that way due to a superstitious belief about same-sex twins? So Bridget acting and dressing like a girl wasn't their choice? Especially with how often Bridget had to remind other characters that they were a guy? It is now, and good for them, but up until this game, it was something that their parents forced upon them. I dunno, the fact that Bridget was more or less forced into this scenario is a bit, ehhhhhh. It's a bit uncomfortable. Them choosing it on their own now is good, but that backstory as to why is very icky tbh.

Yeah that's a valid take, but keep in mind that XX was certainly was less mature with the thing as it was just a punchline which was downright insulting to everyone. Hell, I-No would say racial slurs in that game. Strive looks at it differently, she was always happy with her childhood but her being AMAB had her be looked down due to her village's superstition. She proved it was a bull**** superstition by being a successful bounty hunter who gave her riches to the village to get respect, which worked, but her insecurities and feelings didn't change as she merely thought the issue was the superstition itself before realizing that the issue she had personally was being seen as a boy. Could it be handled better with a different character? Yeah, but this retooling of her backstory doesn't really contradict her backstory and goals, is handled respectfully and honestly, is something entirely unseen in video games


TLDR: Took an offensive punchline and figured out how to rework it to be fitting and interesting

Hello everybody my name is Markiplier and welcome to Five Nights at Freddies, an indie horror game that you guys suggested in mass, and I saw that Yamimash played it and he said that it was really really good; so I’m very eager to see what is up - and that is a terrifying animatronic bear reads off script family pizzeria looking for security guard to work the night shift. Oh, 12:00 A.M, the first night. If I didn’t want to stay the first night, why would I stay any more than five? Why would I say anymore than two -

I got to voice Freddy in this FNAF 8th anniversary animation! It even features Christopher McCullough (Foxy and Pigpatch's VA) and Darbi Worley (Withered Chica's VA) so that's super fun.
