In all seriousness, while Ik Smash wasn't the deciding factor, it is really cool seeing series gain renewed/more interest cause of it. Like idk how to describe, but I don't think we'd get a new Garou game if Terry didn't join Smash.

I rag on Nintendo a lot for their treatment of classic games

But I will give them one, AND ONLY ONE, compliment:

The NSO service (and Switch itself) being completely region free and requiring only one paid account to access all regions' games is shockingly user friendly. The fact that people around the world can look at the OG Custom Robo games now is super dope. I hope that they go crazy with this and upload the ROM of the OG Animal Crossing, that would be absolutely wild and I would play the heck out of it if they did.

With GBA and GBC basically being leaked earlier this year (probably getting announced in a late September Direct if I had to guess), wouldn't that technically mean Mother 3 is gonna be...?

I can't believe we live in a world where Mark of the wolves 2 is in active development.

Seemed like that series was doomed to stay dead forever since the last entry came out when i was a baby, i guess Smash really does have the power to revive dead IP's, even third parties lol

It really is incredible Nintendo saw everyone screaming bloody murder at them to finally put the 3DS out to pasture in 2017 and they responded with:

“HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMYesss I believe I will support this device up until 2019.”


BIS remake wasn’t even a horrible idea, but yeah no, the 3DS was done. They shoulda done what they did with several of the N64’s final titles and move them over to the new system instead of whatever the heck the 3DS’ last 3 years of life was.

I am constantly impressed that, when looking at systems like the GCN with its mini DVDs and the Wii U’s everything, as well as business decisions such as the N64’s refusal to use discs and prolonging the life of a dead console almost no one wants games for anymore, that this company still exists successfully.


The powers of Pokemon, Mario, Zelda, and more recently Splatoon and Animal Crossing really are what’s kept them alive all these years.

In all fairness some of those late 3DS games are localizations of games that came out earlier in the 3DS lifecycle in Japan, it would have been weird to have them on Switch at that point.

I really need to pick up the PS2 compilation already. I hope Matt Mcmuscles is okay, him and Maximilian Dood must have lost their minds.

It's a shame all of this awesome SNK news is still undercut by MBS, but I guess donating an equal amount to charity as ResetEra suggests equals out maybe...or picking up a used copy.

Same. I liked Love and Thunder more, or at least felt better walking out of the theater. Ragnarok tends to get worse for me each time I watch it aside from the music and some of the visuals.
