I don't even hate Intelleon. I'm not that big a fan of any of the Gen 8 starters, but I don't hate any of them.

For me it goes like this:
Cinserace is okay, Rillaboom is extremely okay, Inteleon is the worst starter ever created

It competes with Gen 2's trio for the title of the weakest starter trio for me

Rillaboom would be cool if the big bad gorilla wasn’t constantly hunched over a little drum. Spoils what would’ve otherwise been an alright design.

Cinderace is fine. Just not very interesting.

Inteleon is pain.

I don't like Rillaboom but that's because he betrayed me. I grew to like my specific Cinderace (Lola) but I'm ambivalent to the species in general. Intelleon looks a little doofy but he's fine.

So I was catching a Silicobra earlier and when it went to the ball roll, just behind it was a Shiny Makuhita who had pervaded my notice. So that's a banger.


But then later, I was like "Oh look an item, imma pick it up" so I walked into it, but it led to a Pokemon encounter, and I went "Oh no, I bumped into a teeny Pokemon instead of getting the item" but then it turned out the mon was the item: I had mistaken an extremely small Shiny Rookidee for it. So that was an experience.

(The Hisuian Forms weren't on this list, but if they were, Hisuian Decidueye would be High A (Just below Meowscarada), Hisuian Samurott would be Low A (Just below Serperior) and Hisuian Typhlosion would be bottom of C tier. I don't actively hate any of em, but I do have my biases.

I usually pick water starters but just know that I believe

• Gen 1, 3, 4 and 7 have 0 bad starters and evos
• 2, 5, 6 and 9 (don't say it) have 2 good but a mid/bad in the mix.
• 8 was good starters but just ass evos
