Heavy text
There was a game I was in a couple days ago that had a t posing heavy spinning around playing songs sung by heavy.

Needless to say, it was on 2fort , and it was a disaster when the Pyro came by.

People trying to vibe and this muffled maggot comes screaming by with the phlog. Well you know what? **** you and **** your kill streak, I just wanna listen to my man lay bars, you ****ing walking tinderbox.

I'm sorry you went through this, but could you please put the nightmare creature in a spoiler tag?
Is it that bad? It’s just spiked green BROSKI

I've actually seen what they look like as fully metamorphized moths, and I still haven't decided if they're incredibly pretty or incredibly creepy
Yeah the moth form is pretty cool

The first case of COVID-19 was found on this day five years ago.

yes, I did say five years ago. A whole grad class and then some.
I know many died and suffered (and still suffer) from Covid but the lockdown era was some of the best times of my life.

I got to work from home.
I saw more family more often.
Near zero traffic on the roads.
Near zero people in restaurants so service was faster
Near zero people in grocery stores.
Plane rides had under 20 people aboard.
Dead and nearly dead online games had full lobbies.
Wearing a mask made certain social situations easier.
So many companies and services switched to online.

Though I know it wasn’t pleasant at all for many, so many personal good times were had for me.

At least the Danny Phantom and Stoked finales (I can only assume) didn't involve the main characters taking a semi-Genocide Route. :4pacman:
For me, I was mainly picturing in terms of wrapping up the show and tying up loose ends.

In terms of protagonist morality and climatic value, yeah SVTFOE is pretty freaking horrendous and there were a million better ways for the main antagonists to be defeated. But it at least cleaned things up a reasonable amount and works AS a finale. Same for Phantom Planet.

Stoked was such a goddamn horrible way to wrap up EVERYTHING. Nobody died, but the Reef/Lo relationship came to an incredibly ignoble end that ended up making Lo look like a real jerk, then forced us to eat Reef/Fin and LO/BROSEPH as endgame ships. Reef/Fin was hinted at a little, but Broseph/Lo came RIGHT OUT OF NOWHERE. And don't even get me started on the family issues Lo has that were given ABSOLUTELY NO GOOD CONCLUSIVE ELEMENTS. And it was completely LACKING all the pathos and emotional strength a finale should probably have (that's another element SVTFOE and DP at least TRIED to have).

Admittedly this comes partially from Personal Attachment™. I personally never was that attached to SVTFOE or DP, but I absolutely loved 95% of Stoked up to this point, so the fact it ended on such a horrendous note just REALLY kills me. It's like the opposite of Disventure Camp All-Stars - 95% was horrid, but the finale was actually pretty good.

Ah yes

The big silly

I remember at the beginning of 2020 thinking it’d be like a really bad flu that would go away after a few months.

I’ve never claimed to be intelligent :224:

With how gimmicky Pokemon evolution methods have gotten in recent years, there's one I'm surprised they haven't done: branched evolution based on level.

You have some random Pokemon that evolves at, let's say, level 30. That's it's "normal" evolution. But if you keep choosing not to evolve it every time it levels up, at level 45 or so it evolves into something different. I'm not sure what kind of idea would suit this, but it sounds fun

sometimes a lil genocide comes a long way…aka it taught us that intended Disney finales can’t get any worse than that
