The new Fortnite season is very good so far, the biggest problem is that they managed to create one of the most soulless loading screens I have ever seen

The one they had before also wasn't great

I'm going to say it's a safe bet that we'll see Donkey Kong Land III come to NSO sometime this week.

And we're still due NES Tetris by the end of this year, which is almost over.

It’s gonna suck that the switch never got an original Donkey Kong game.

Then again, if we had gotten the one that was in development and then cancelled we wouldn’t have gotten the N. Sane trilogy and Crash’s brief return. So eh. But then again, why has Nintendo kept the franchise on the back burner for so long?

Completed Sonic Adventure 2 again.

Still a great game and one of my favorites despite the jank and a few genuinely awful levels. The Sonic and Shadow stuff is definitely the best part of the game but I actually don't mind most of the mech and treasure hunting stages. Mad Space can absolutely **** off though.

Now I'm trying to decide if I wanna attempt 180 emblems again. The first Adventure isn't that bad to get 100% but a lot of those A ranks in SA2 were extremely aggravating back when I got them all on GCN.

SA2 is interesting to discuss cauae I feel the "1/3 of the game is good" argument isn't really fair, and it's more of a level by level basis. And overall, I think most of the levels are passable at the least. May be a hot take but I didn't hate Knuckles's levels, but I do wish the hint system was a bit better.

With that said, you can tell Tails and Rouge were last second additions cause the quality of their levels took a nosedive midgame and they genuinelly tank the experience. And the last level and final set of bosses (minus Sonic vs Shadow) is just awful.

To this day, I still have zero idea how I A-Ranked Security Hall first try.

Cannon's Core ain't that bad imo. The Rouge and Knuckles sections can be annoying on a first attempt, especially if you don't already have the Air Necklace for the latter, but it's a pretty cool level on repeat play throughs when you know where to go. The time stop gimmick is fun.

And I like the Biolizard fights personally. Maybe they're just being hard carried by Supporting Me and Live and Learn but I've never minded them. I've never ****ing figured out how to properly swap to the other Super character in Final Hazard in my over two decades of playing the game though.

I didn't hate Finalhazard first time though, bur when I tried it again for the Boss Battle medal I swear the hit detection was just atrocious. (Also to swap I think you go under the Biolizard or something).

Biolizard the issue was the atrocious camera that made me sick, which stinks cauae the rest if the fight would be perfect.

The real BS was the final Tails vs Eggman fight. Pissed me off to no end.

A Nokia C1-01.

It's in pretty good condition all things considered.
Whoa you really use that? That’s cool. If you ever upgrade to a smartphone, you’ll be blown away.

I got the 13 Regular.

I don’t plan on upgrading until I stop getting active support, which probably isn’t for a few more years.
you should still get updates until 2027 or 2028. Apple supports their devices for a very long time.

We are just 30 days away for the XBOX 360 to become officially retro (it was released in 2005. And for November 2025, it turns 20)
this is actually a big deal. The 360 was in last place for its gen but still crazy popular for both good (games) and bad reasons (red ring of death). I remember it had a wired and wireless version.

Took me about 40 hours but wow, what a fun game, definitely looking forward to the 1+2 remakes
Will you do any post-game stuff? Or are you content with just beating Zoma?

One day I will get Xenoblade 1.

And Xenoblade X DE, and this time actually finish it.
Definitive Edition is superior in every way. Please get it asap.

Made a roster for a DC Fighting Game that ideally plays like MvC.
I intentionally used silver age art for the characters to reflect the "Batman: The Brave and the Bold" tone I want for the game, with exceptions made for characters who are either too new to have been in Silver Age or who got more iconic designs introduced later on.

This never got any attention so I’m reposting it.

Also curious specifically about the idea of guest characters on the villain side. I’m talking guests from media where the villain is the focus. Ideally comic book/superhero adjacent. The only idea I have is megamind.

I'm still disappointed about there not being any original Dr. Mario games made for Switch. All we got was NES, N64, Game Boy, and WarioWare Inc.: Mega MicroGame$ (had Dr. Wario)

I'm content, especially as from what I understand I'd need like 70 more mini medals and I would rather not do that lmao

So while I was putting up Christmas lights in a tree right outside my home, this savage (“io moth caterpillar” from Texas) fell and landed on my left arm. It’s poisonous but thankfully he bounce 2 times on my arm and then fell to the ground. Very little poison got on my skin but it does feel like a bad sunburn. I just have 2 raised areas on my left arm.

I should have smashed him into oblivion but since I was the one who knocked him out of his home, I guess him stinging me means we are even.

Oh, sea scorpions? Honestly, as far as I'm concerned those things are just weird lobsters. I'm more scared of some of the creatures living in the ocean today.
And...for all we know, even if they're apparently extinct now, we don't know that. Remember, many people say we know more about outer space than we know about the ocean.

There's so little we've truly explored, so there's every chance the freakiest things imaginable live in the spaces we mere humans are yet incapable of searching. For all we know, unicorns could be real and they just live underwater while running on the seafloor like hippos.
