I'm not sure if I'm the only one, but over the past few years I've gotten into Animation Cel collecting. It's kind of cool to have official art from your favorite shows, especially if they don't really have any proper merchandise.

I've collected most of what I want in terms of Retro Games, and the TCG market is bloated, so it became my new hobby over the pandemic. So far I have art from Yu Yu Hakusho, Urusei Yatsura, Cutie Honey, Hell Teacher Nube, etc.

~1983 to ~2003 might be a little cleaner. 1983 saw the rise of Toy/Advertisement Cartoons such as GI Joe/He-Man/Transformers and 2003 is probably closer to the death of Cel animation.

Man I wish I remembered where I was before I ended up dropping it, I hear the post series spinoff stuff is also ****ing godlike. Kudos to being the most gay Sentai until the next season which canonically has 0 straight people on the team

Yeah, I'm definitely checking out the movies after I'm done - I'm in love with everyone in the cast.

Then, I was thinking about skipping to Donbrothers but apparently, that's a sequel season?

Sonic Drift Reboot

It's basically a Sonic racing game that takes all the myriad of attempts at on before, throws them into a blender, and injects some Mario Kart design philosophy for good measure. The characters are broken down into teams, but Team Sonic Racing style team racing is merely an alternate mode. The karts transform like in Transformed, but as an alternate option you can ride on a hoverboard (akin to Mario Kart's Bikes, also allowing for a Riders homage) which obviously does not need to transform to fly and go over water.

It may be Thanksgiving but Zen Studios dropped a few early Pinball related gifts:

9 new tables in December:

Donbrothers technically has Zenkaiger's leader as the mentor figure but the joke is that he is absolutely nothing alike from his show and that it doesn't get explained in the show, though it's really good and unlike Zenkaiger, you won't lose out on the best gags if you're not a big Sentai fan, the post series Kiramager stuff involves a villain introduced late in the show called Yodonna and I have heard nothing but praise



Also for thanksgiving, I ask everyone here to take care of their pets and treat them a bit, I just had to say goodbye to my beloved cat. Second family member in 2 years to die on a holiday, who'd have thought

Trailer for the Disventure Camp season 1 finale came out.

Time to listen to "Goodbye to a World" by Porter Robinson on repeat, picture emotional and tearjerking moments between my comfort characters, and have an absolutely DREADFUL time :4pacman:
