They did it with Yakuza 7's PS5 version and making Rise of the Tomb Raider a timed exclusive when that first came out. Probably a bunch of others too, but those come to mind immediately.

You know... I bought X and Ultra Moon on 3DS. And party of me is like "I probably should play them". But then another part of me is like "you know they're gonna get remade EVENTUALLY so just wait till then!". Honestly, which do you think is the between decision? Like I know I'd have to wait till Gens 12 and 14 but like... is there any reason to rush into those particular gens right away?

Yeah Gen 7 is God Tier and should be a must play for anyone who likes monster catching games.

Gen 6... yeah maybe wait for the remake. Not bad, just a bit barren
