I was born in the north as a kid but moved to the south as a teen so I have this weird inbetween accent where I have southern mannerisms but northern pronunciations.

Like, I’ll say stuff like ya’ll while at the same time not have that signature cowboy-sounding lisp while I say it.

Wow, I remember that film and nope your wrong.

To be fair I can't even properly explain what my voice sounds like, it's like mixture of Irish and a neutral English accent but I switch to slightly American. Problem is anything on YouTube's about my accent is pretty exaggerated.
Oh I smack my lips a bit after some words but that's the remains of my speech issues.

Though some of you American's would probably be entertained at how I say words like Cow, Router, Doctor and all that.

To be fair about stuff like our voices but some of us live in strange places where people's accents change depending on what part of the city you live in.

Granted, I'm part of the new "education social media" generation where some of our accents are more neutral here in Ireland. 30 years ago though? You can easily tell who was rich and who was poor, who was educated and who wasn't, who was Catholic and who was Protestant just by their accents. Regional voices right down to the bone and the only difference is a mile. I feel sorry for some tourists coming to my hometown with how confusing it is.

If it wasn't for how I pronounce words like Cow and Doctor, people would have thought (and have guessed) I'm from South West England which is nope though my parent is from there so it's an influence on my voice.

I swear and I've mentioned it before but I wouldn't mind doing something like a voice call with my friends on here in the future. Gonna be bored for the next until mid March except for health appointments and "job skill improvements". Feels like suggesting it is like taboo in with how I've asked it with friends and stuff in the past.

Plus in pandemic era it wouldn't hurt to try and think of new steps. Hate not having a job or in education but I know I'll look back on this in better ways later in life.

Man I've been on a crazy mood swing tonight.

4am and I'm still up, I'll push til sunrise I think. Also because of the brain mis-firing due to my tiredness my posts may become a bit more rude and I might forget them when I wake up.

Also Wademan94 I know I've proposed my idea about having both of our main leads having a sparring match with each other just as a way for us to try and get us to refresh our minds but you really want to do it? Just don't want to feel like I'm forcing you to do it.

Neither. I read my posts in my own internal voice, which is way different from my actual voice.

I dunno how to describe my accent. I grew up in Arizona but despite living in the American southwest my entire life people have always been asking me where my "accent" is from. I had a speech impedement when I was a kid so maybe that's part of it?
