Seeing the buzz about the Smush dude made me went on an old revisit of my first posts here and on my old robotics forum. Man I have grown up looking at the contrast between the two. I should be proud of myself.

Also Wademan94 should post it on your Discord server but I have started a bit more writing on my story again. Not writing the story but more or less thinking stuff like weapons, terrain and building another relationship chart of my characters. So might kick my own ass up if you want to start talking about our story stuff again.

I don't want to apply for mod, but I would love to apply for news and article writer.

I think I have a lot of potential to come up with interesting topics to write about.

I personally think that could do you some good. I would love to do it as it gives me some goal in lockdown but it's hard to get motivated.

One of my ideas was making an article on Super Mario Bros 2 and the actual legacy It left on the Mario series in general, or something which goes deeper about the many connections between the classic Kirby series of games and Super Smash Brothers.

It's really weird to think that classic enemies like Snifits, Shy Guys, Pokeys, Bob-Ombs and Birdo(s?) started out as not even being Mario characters. They're just being taken for granted, especially Bob-Ombs.

Alright, SO... with getting back into Melee recently, I have updated my search as to who my new Melee main should be!

Round 1 involved trying out basic Melee tech.
Round 2 was about seeing if the characters left had good chemistry with me when sparring with a friend (just doing rapid fire, 1-2 matches per character).

And now, with round 3, it presented a new challenge. We all know that skilled human players are significantly better than CPUs. However, the helpful thing about Melee CPUs is that if you can't beat a higher level CPU with your main, you should probably swap. So, with the 15 remaining characters, I decided to see if I could beat at minimum a level 7 Fox CPU on arguably his best stage: Fountain of Dreams. Here are the results:

Only two characters failed this test: Link and DK. The rest were able to beat the level 7 CPU Fox, or higher.

On the topic of discussing what would we write for something on Smashboards I'd have a few ideas on mine. Problem is that a few things are PlayStation though.

1. A look at the early 3DS eShop and some of it's early hits like Pushmo/Crashmo (Pullblox and Fallblox), Hana Samurai and the Gulid series.

2. A look at the PSP's attempt on making it a multimedia device with a look at short films and a European music documentary made for it, an Nintendo Zone esque software called Passport To which was available for certain European cities etc.

3. A few hypothetical rosters like a new Dissidia, Persona 5 Arena, Capcom vs Nintendo etc.

4. How could Wii Sports continue on the Switch and all that.

I'm pretty good at comprehension and I kinda need something to give me focus during lockdown so I'd be for it.

I may or may not have drawn a bit of inspiration from your story as I re-read your last excerpt again. Finally gave one of my characters a weapon, finally thought out the finale and expanding more of my world.

Been getting a nagging feeling that my writing isn't good though.
