I remember the days when the biggest topic involving videogames was the mystery of the jetpack in GTA V.

I remember all the theories about how the unlock methods of the jetpack were involved with the UFOs and aliens hidden in the game.

If you didn't say "Nintendo game", my guess would have been one of the Metal Gear Solid games (MGS4? Peace Walker?), given the conflict between Big Boss and Zero or, for a less spoilery MGS4 example, Old Snake and Liquid Ocelot. (though that one doesn't quite fit because Snake knows that he's past his prime)

Alternatively, Team Fortress 2 - also not a Nintendo game, but it fits the description.

These gaming themed videos I’m working on have scripts that, to a certain degree, act sort of as cartoons. This is a design for Nintendo for one of those segments. If Pringus McDingus ain’t busy, I plan on seeing if he’s available to voice this lad. Luckily I have the money to pay a voice actor on me currently.

If I recall correctly, you have to keep your camera on him once he reaches the hall corner. If your camera is off of him for too long, he sneaks in regardless of whether your doors are closed or not.

You know it's bad when games from 2002 do so much better. And I think he malfunctioned when I told him I used the money to get 51 Worldwide Games but I was like dude what's better:

1. "The next generation of open-world adventure."

2. A game collection that has (Discount) Uno, Air Hockey, Shogi and Chinese Checkers?

It ain't a next generation broken mess.
