Man, my ability to go to bed is a trainwreck. How do you guys do it so easily?

-cut down on carb consumption
-keep yourself well hydrated (don't drink too much water before sleeping however)
-be more active during waking hours
-limit blue light devices before sleeping
-don't eat anything before sleeping (at least a couple hours)
-meditate
-bonk yourself on the head with a hammer
-get used to waking up early in the morning
-try to spend some time outside during the day (sun exposure)
-light stretching before sleeping
-lavender
-cooler temperatures

I’m working on a project.

It’s still in the early stages, and I plan to do most of the art myself cuz I’m not exactly loaded, but I’ll definitely hit you up if/when I need something more professional looking.

Dictators always gain power through crisis. Give an authorian government an inch, not only will they never give it up, they'll demand more. There will always be more reason for them to say the crisis continues. Another strain, or as in 1984 "the war between oceania and eurasia".

I think in the future well have to remind the elite that the government serves the people. The people don't serve the government.

I mean, there is some truth to this. People are more willing to give up more of their liberties during a crisis out of fear. But it's not as simple as people wearing masks just because they're told to. As an American I'd be much more worried if politicians were using this crisis to upheave the country's checks and balances. Besides, at least in the US, I don't think it's really the extreme authoritarians who are trying to get people to wear masks anyway...

Tbf, he does canonically die in Metroid 1 and becomes the cyborg Meta Ridley on the Prime trilogy.

Then in Other M they explain he for some reason has regenerative abilities, they retconned him to appear in the remake of Metroid 2 and apparently that explains why he is alive in Super Metroid.

Impressive that Metroid lore is this close to getting as confusing as Kingdom Hearts.

Even the most honest officials we elect are either forced to conform to the corrupt system or are exiled with scandals by corporate owned media.

I haven't heard of that, perhaps eating a few may help but typically you don't want to eat too much before sleeping because your body will be putting energy into digesting the food while you sleep, when you really want it to focus on recovery. Instead of absorbing energy from your food you want your body to start rebuilding it's muscles while you sleep.

Well I won't disagree here. I think the lockdowns are improtant but the way they've been handled has just been atrocious, especially in terms of how they distribute their relief funds. I think this issue has much more to do with corporate lobiests then any sort of risk of a dictatorship, but our current system still sucks.

xD Yes, indeed they do! Funnily enough, I wasn't thinking about Pinky and The Brain when I made Ridley and Roidley's relationship be dynamic despite having watched that show in my childhood, but a very funny interpretation of Kraid in a silly fanfic I read long ago was the thing. :3 Glad you like then, really! xD I need to go back into drawing them but I have SO many projects that it's hard to focus on every single one....
