Not as bad as the critics make it out to be.

Yeah they could have cut down on the jokes and honed in more on serious moments, but the action. Scenes we’re pretty good.

The ending was also pretty crazy and I’m pretty sure no one leaked this before release which is wilder.

Probably one of the most left field twists Marvels done. But I love the potential it has.

Didn't Byleth basically say that they should ignore her home village being attacked because it was not their job? If anything Hope's gave her a good reason to snap at them since their nature made them cone off as insensitive.

with that moment it made sense for the most part (tho I suppose Leonie should have probably realized that Byleth isn’t a normal person who understands emotions or feelings at this moment. The quick diss she tosses at her probably didn’t help), but Leonie shares a random moment of hatred during her A support with Shez as well. She got mad over her spending time with her father…despite being his child…maybe it’s just me, but I find it weird to be mad at the child for spending time with their parent just because you want to spend time with your master. A little healthy competition to see who is the best is perfectly fine, but to base your opinion about someone with well known emotion issues strictly on why they don’t express right about their dad isn’t the way to go.

and of course there’s the majority of their relationship in Three Houses, kinda makes her marriage with Myleth a bit more odd to have imo. This is all in no way knock on her character as a whole, as I think she’s one of the best characters in the Golden Deers house (behind Three Houses Claude, both versions of Marianne + Hilda, and Lysithia…Judith as well if she can count), but she’s severely held back by her Jeralt/Byleth feelings.
