Tbh I had a big "cartoons are stupid" phase that lasted for most of my teen years.

Then someone linked me this short and well...

Let's just say this little video reignited a forgotten side if me.

But it's not just that I started to live animation again. Some of the themes in Gravity Falls just resonated with me so strongly that I found myself reexamining who I am and what my family means to me, and even inspired one of my big life decisions. It's not an exaggeration to say that show actually changed my life.

If there is one thing I like a lot about Gravity Falls, it's that they shut down Wendy and Dipper. Not because I'm a Dipcifica kind of guy, but a lot of kids shows do **** like, "Oh, you'd be my dream if you were older", or "Just wait some years and I'll consider" with like a kiss on the cheek and idk that its really ****ing weird when you think about it. I like that GF just shuts that down stating that yeah Dipper is too young for Wendy and Wendy only sees him as a little brother of sorts and they'll never get together without the angsty drama or anything.

no, but they did have some amazing moments…Book 2’s main plot aside…Varrick and Bolin had carry that one hella hard

I am once reminded that Young Avengers in MCU will probably be a thing and they're going to disservice Wiccan and Hulkling so hard.

With Marvel being the only ones in Disney allowed to fully explore the LGBT content without being held back in some way, I don’t think a disservice will be the case for one of the first gay married superhero couples in Marvel history
