So, I had a dumb idea for a video. I might make a video going over the history of recasts in the Smash Bros. franchise, and trying to explain why they happened. Cause some of them are actually kinda interesting, like the Zelda cast, and some are flat out weird, like Lucario. Would this be something anyone would be interested in watching?

Because it’s funny. I think it is anyway. I’m laughing at myself. Like I’m trying really hard not to bellyache and bemone about frontiers and it’s direction and get all worked up over it, so at most all I can be is just uncaring and disappointed. But now I know to not watch the trailers lol.

You won’t catch me coming here just to *****. That’s for sure. I just thought the way I phrased that was funny.

That green stripe in her hair I feel like it’s gonna hold some significance. Weather it ties her to another character, maybe it’s related to a prophecy for the legends or something else. I feel like although it could be nothing, it’s an interesting detail that they don’t really give character designs.

Haven't watched Sonic stuff yet, but I am a loser with no standards, so here's what my thoughts will be regardless:

so, Pokémon thoughts:

- Smoliv, my beloved

- Sprigatito lookin' a little funky in 3D, but still funny Substance Cat so yes it is still my starter choice

- Music showcased is eh

- TOBY FOX COMPOSING THOUGH???

- Giga Chad professor and Cave Woman professor? Aw yeah, this is happenin'.

- I do not vibe with these new legendaries, but the purple one is alright.



Soooooooo, how are the fanbases taking both? Swimmingly, I'm sure. :happysheep:

So I'm hearing Sonic looks empty?

NGL as long as controlling him feels fun...For me personally at least, they already have me sold by giving me a big sandbox to run in as Sonic, so I'm down.

Sonic fans are physically incapable of feeling joy so don't worry, this was a guaranteed outcome.


Real talk, naw I get it, this footage isn't particularly exciting. I'll fully admit that I'm probably gonna be the odd one out here when the game comes out, 'cause unless they're hiding stuff, I have a bit of a suspicion on how this game is gonna shape up and it's gonna annoy people, lol.

I'll be optimistic as hell about this game until it comes out but I get it, our first showcase is just running around and **** instead of seeing the gameplay loop, making it more like a tech demo and showing that they hired that man instead of well, seeing what the game will be like. At least the movement seem fun, I hope we get to recreate the Sonic CD opening

So my full thouhhts I guess
  1. Masuda leaves, and what do we get? Chonk? Smol? Prof Gigachad? Dawg Redditors took over the game, we need Masuda BACK.
  2. The designs are cool. Reed Richards, Wilma Flinstone, and Spanish adult (or not) Momo Yaoyorozu.
  3. Legends are cool. Need more info
  4. Graphics look... better than PLA. Not up there but at least we got some good textures this time.
  5. Black Hairstyles was the highlight. I been campaigning for this for a long ass time so I'm hyped for that. Inb4 those were the only 2.
  6. What was the male professors name again? It feels like everyone just calls him Gigachad instead
  7. ATM, not standout mons except the Starters. We may have another Gen 7 situation where idk what starter to choose
Sonic stuff later when everything clears up.

Honestly, the only thing bugging me so far are the weirdly stiff animations, but a lot can change inbetween now and November, so I'll reserve judgement on those until we have the final product.

The movement looks incredible, though, I absolutely cannot wait to run around in the world. All they need to really sell me is just give me some simple challenges/achievements to complete with little obstacles like BotW had and the game is fantastic for me.
