One thing that makes me scratch my head in Pokémon Xenoverse is that in the Xenoverse Dex it's numbered from #1 to #42 but nothing is numbered #30 and there are no clues in the game's data either.

Ah, memories. It's just like the good old days when the MC Forums whined that horses weren't "Minecraft-ey" and would ruin the game.

I remember when I was 11 and people were upset about the RPG-esque features (enchanting, potions, exp) just because they’re typically used in RPGs and they thought that was gonna make Minecraft an RPG. I argued against this on Planet Minecraft’s forums, thinking Minecraft would clearly still be a sandbox (of course, it is) and the new stuff was cool.

People were also upset about the hunger bar, and tbh I was as well for a bit, but then I got used to it and kinda like it now.

I think there are people who complain about “not Minecraft!” or “too modded!” for almost every update, which I feel is unfair; of course it’ll feel like a mod when it’s something we haven’t seen in the game before, and there’s thousands upon thousands of mods, it’d be unfair to limit Mojang by what a mod has already added.

Little do they know, sandstone was also a mod :>

I watched Chip and Dale.

It was better than i thought it would be but it's not really a good movie.
If i made a tier list of these sorts of films i would put it above Ready Player one, Foodfight and Space Jam 2, but obviously below Wreck it Ralph, Roger Rabbit and the Lego Movie.

The movie did get a few chuckles out of me so i can see people enjoying it, that background gag of "Lego Les miserables" was kinda funny, though for me that's probably just because ive been playing too many Lego games this year.
The plot of cartoon character getting kidnapped and disfigured so they can star in Video Brinquedo films is a pretty neat premise, that is unfortunately built on the back of real life Disney controversy, so this feels awkward to discuss.

I wonder how many of these characters were actually licensed out vs how many of them are legally distinct enough to just be parodies. Some of these look WAY too close to the actual characters for it to be legally distinct

That gag in the credits where Disney teased a Disney afternoon platform fighter makes me wish that was a real thing.

I wouldn't be surprised if they're at least considering it. Ultimate was a huge success and Multiverse's reception has been very positive so far, I'm sure that they're looking at both and thinking what they could do with their own stock of beloved animated characters.

I'd be even more surprised if Disney wasn't going all-out with their properties for a Smash clone/Platform fighter.

I mean Disney, Star Wars, Marvel, etc.

The potential is there.

Nyarly’s big meaty claws Nyarlathotep's design actually takes a lot of cues from different Lovecraftian creatures: Its overall look resembles the Haunter of the Dark more than anything and it also has elements of Night Gaunts and Mi-Go. Seeing how many forms he can take, it shouldn’t be an issue and Persona 2 gave him a lot more forms to work with. I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not the biggest fan of Lovecraft’s characters being used in mythology crossovers but at least SMT never treats it like anything special and it has a neat look that doesn’t rely on tentacles.
