so once I start playing him, I obtain no benefits? Just an inferior yet still better than Pittoo version of Sora?

You dont get to play as him until the sequels.

In the games where you do play as him that is a pretty good descriptor of him.

Teaser Trailer hype! Am liking the updated designs and they shininess to them, though I'll need to see more in terms of animation. The series is at its best when it's pure slapstick so I'm not sure more highly detailed models will work within that as well.

Also looks like Lum's hair will change colors for the first time in animation (when she shocks peoples) so it's a nice attention to detail. I can already recognize at least two or three of the stories it looks like they'll adapt. I'll be curious to know if they plan on making the stories 22 minutes or 11 minutes.

Shield Hero S2 has let me down hard with how poorly its adapting the LN, so I'm glad that I can still look forward to this. Also the new MHA season.

I'm not a fan of Ataru's voice. It's too deep. But other than that, the scenes look like they have a lot of energy, so I'm excited. As far as the length of the stories, I feel like 11 minutes will be better since they tend to be quicker paced, but they can throw in a 22 minute story every once in a while.

Alignment: Neutral-Chaos

Origin: Christian mythology. Melchom is a demon mentioned in the Dictionnaire Infernal. Originally he was an unearthly god of the Ammonites, and his name Melech meant “king” in Hebrew. After Israelites chased his worshipers and David took his crown away, Melchom was cast down from his usurped throne, becoming a lesser demon and working as the paymaster of hell’s servants. His epitaph is “he who carries the purse”.

Skills: Maragi, Dia, Tarukaja

Next time, you will meet a demon of the Dragon race.

I think I said that before but I love sleazy-looking demons like Melchom. His hilariously obvious purse and demonic gentleman attire create a pretty memorable contrast. He also has a great pose. When they say Melchom fell from grace, they meant it. He fell hard, to the point, that he’s one of the weakest demons in all of his enemy roles, rarely being much stronger than Slime or Pixie. I was expecting him to have some sort of money-related skill like Macca Ray but I think he doesn’t have one. (also, is it just me, or does Gustav looks like him?)
