Granted most of the anime I watch is card game anime, so aside from.. like 1 or two lewd scenes a season it's generally fine.

Also, for anyone here who know about Undertale AU, just watched Underverse (The Sans Crossover if that ring bells) & XTALES, the prequel to it, and despite some of my fears & problems I had with the idea. I actually really liked what I watched.


Granted, it's freakin' LONG, but I say it was worth it, and I look forward to what will happen in Season 2.

I gave it a brief overview. My favorite characters in it were Tails and Shadow; they play off Sonic really well with the whole plot point of "we can't depend on Sonic forever" while Sonic is still just doing Sonic things like there's no issue.

Overall premise has promise.

He isn’t in official media.

He’s his own character in trailers and stuff (including official news, artwork and other posts including them whenever they’re mentioned) and shows personality. He and Alex, while not having fully realized personalities and probably being like Pokémon trainers so the players can have their own idea of them a bit despite being their own characters as well, do at least get used as their own beings officially and have a little bit about them (Steve is a miner and alchemist, while Alex is a hunter and explorer, and both are builders (all this at least according to a Lego Club magazine though I guess it’s official as people bothered to add it to the wiki; merch/media and the Smash trailer seem to reflect this too even if both characters tend to do all of that)). Both are also friends.

They’re only “voids” in the game itself because the game is focused on the player and what they want to do, though you can be Steve or Alex if you want.

Spleef is a popular minecraft minigame where players have to kill other players by throwing eggs that destroy the ground.

I jumped back into Minecraft for the first time in roughly a decade; I decided to go into Survival mode (the tutorial didn't seem to be working when I tried to pick back up where I left off, and I didn't want to restart it), though admittedly on easy. I'll put my experiences in spoiler tags.

I started out in a town, which was already new. I'm not sure what you can do in towns, but just outside it, there was a large stone tower with glass windows on the top. I noticed a cave at the bottom, so I made a crafting table, got some supplies, and dug my way up there.

At the top of the tower, I found what seemed like a mix between a library and a temple (apparently dedicated to a goose, if the giant woolen sculpture was anything to go by) There was a bunch of wool, which allowed me to make a bed inside the temple. This might have been a mistake, since there turned out to be a bunch of enemies in there, including ones that I had never seen before. (evil villagers? evillagers? They had axes, anyway)

I died, and woke up in the temple. Rather than sticking around, I decided to escape. I couldn't go back the way I came in (I dug upwards, came to an opening, and fell down it quite a long distance), so I decided to dig straight ahead. This eventually got me to a mine, and I'd gotten enough coal to make torches.

I got out of the mine through a waterfall, getting right back to where I started before my climb up the tower. I found a path of lilypads that, coincidentally, led to where I had started digging towards the mine, so that worked well as a shortcut. I decided to go into the mine to get Iron (all I had were stone tools), and I found enough to get half of an armour set. (the helmet and boots)

While I was in there, I heard some giggling, which made me think that I was hearing things. I did some digging, and found two enemies that I hadn't seen before - a witch and two bats. (I'm not 100% sure if the bats are enemies) The witch brought me down to half a heart with what appears to be poison (it doesn't seem like I can die from being poisoned), though I managed to escape back to my starting point and save. I can't remember how to restore health in Minecraft, but I think it has to do with eating. (not sure if your health automatically restores once your hunger meter is full)

All in all, it reminded me of why I liked the game so much back in the day. It reminds me a lot of the original Zelda and Breath of the Wild with its emphasis on exploration. They've definitely added a lot since the last time that I played, which feels a little overwhelming, and even with stuff that was in the game since the beginning (like Redstone), I never figured out how to use it, but it will be fun to experiment.

EDIT: also, I'm slowly but surely making progress in Final Fantasy 9 - I found out about the tragedy surrounding Vivi (or at least a tragedy - I'm assuming there's more where that came from), Quina got 1000 Needles (which should be useful), and I summoned Ramuh for the first time. It was pretty impressive, which makes me wonder what the rest of the summons in this game (along with the summons in Final Fantasy 8 and 10 - I have those games, but I haven't played them) are like.

I realize that I could look up that last bit on Youtube, but I figure that I'll be more impressed if I don't.
