Considering James Cameron has not directed anything in literally 13 years because he's been working on his Avatar saga this whole time I think there's a solid chance it turns out good. Normally a long development time like that bodes poorly but this is James Cameron soooo

I wish I had your confidence.
The first Avatar film has soured for me over time.
I felt his previous films were significantly better than Avatar.
That doesn't mean that Avatar is bad, it's just underwhelming to me.

I've never watched Avatar, and i couldn't care less about the sequel if i tried, but I disagree with everyone saying the sequel is going to flop. It being an incredibly forgettable movie doesn't change that it's also the highest grossing movie of all time. The 3D craze has been dead for long enough that it will be a novelty again, and it's been long enough since the first one that people are possibly a little nostalgic for it. James Cameron's an experienced filmmaker, I see no reason that this movie would be far worse than anything else he's done (especially because it took so long to produce).

I don't think it'll be taking it's predecessor's place on the leaderboard or anything, but it breaking $1 Billion would hardly shock me.

Just rewatched No Way Home for my Spider-man series watchthrough, Movie would have been better with Morbius.

I still really like it although I have some gripes after watching all of the movies, I have no clue why they did sandman, it seems like they wanted to do Topher Grace Venom but didn't for some reason

Ironically it's because Tom Hardy Venom was there. Since iirc the symbiote can communicate or at least retains memories through multiverses, Tom Hardy Venom was sent instead to set up a Tom Spidey vs. Venom in Spidey 4.

They somewhat answer this in the manga by having Team Aqua and Team Flare own all of the major news outlets in Hoenn/Kalos.

That said in the B2W2 saga, they straight up bring in a 10 year old cop, who outranks Looker, to take down Team Plasma. lol

Yeah but you see people simp for men a hell of a lot less on the internet. One thing I like is that Loid is drawn differently when he's being genuine in the manga and how he's surprisingly progressive in universe considering the show takes place somewhere between WWII-cold war or right after the Berlin wall got taken down

Yeah that's the weird thing isn't it? I don't remember Avatar being bad, I remember it being forgettable. Then again I did watch it at the time on a small television instead of in theaters which feels like, of all movies, probably made than one worse lol
