It's shorthand for aromantic.

People who don't experience romantic attraction. We don't get crushes, fall in love, ect. At least not in the traditional sense. It's an LGBT+ label that flies under the radar because a lot of people aren't aware of the split attraction model (which separates romantic and sexual attraction) so a lot of people just think that's what asexual means.

It's also important to note that sometimes its also used as an umbrella term for people who only experience it very rarely or very weakly.

Aromantic Awareness week starts on the 20th so you'll probably see me be a little annoying about it then. I've kind of been hyperfixating on aromantism lately the same way I hyperfixate on most of my nerdy interests, I've just been keeping that off Smashboards for the most part.
