also Kirby Reanimated collab was taken down by a Nintendo, though supposedly when YouTube reinstated it, it was on the grounds of the claimant being found fake.

There's someone saying Content ID stuff is done manually by Youtube, and you can tell if it's Content ID by the message on the video saying it was blocked; however, if that's true, then the people in charge of it must be easy to fool. I remember when Juno Songs had an issue with his Super Mario 64 Bob-omb Battlefield song getting taken down, and strangely it was Sony instead of Nintendo, although I don't know if that was a Content ID thing or not. Apparently there's other cases of this happening though, including cases with Kirby stuff.

AFAIK nothing is checked manually on YT, regardless of what they say. It's all done by a trashy algorithm.

Yeah and this is why it still seems a bit fishy.

Nintendo went only for a year cause of the Smash Bros leaks. Like picked clean of the meat from the cow sort of deal. Nothing really happened since the pandemic and that's why it seems off.

There's also one (Hydrogoki's) that also got taken down but the weird part was a few games. It was more out there like Pokemon Battle Revolution and WarioWare DIY and not the big hitters.

I'd hope YT would sort their **** out...............................but they won't.

It's Google (**** in many ways), Microsoft (haha paid subscription for everything bar Outlook/Teams), Amazon (10 years away from being a country at this rate), Facebook Meta (influencing elections and idiots since 2008) and all the cesspit of them.

Dailymotion and Vimeo are alright but at this rate its more a place for the crazies to run to cause "muh freedom is being censored!". Honestly at this rate, you are better off just ripping the videos off the internet if you want them for "archiving purposes" now.

And the music is still the weird one. Nintendo would only go for something if it was leaks (again FE Three Houses and Smash Bros) on that front. I know Nintendo and Gilva had a history so I'm not ruling it out.

Despite this. Nintendo IS the type of company that would clear out in one fell swoop. Like purge everything on one front off YT in a day. Just doesn't make sense IMO for them to go after one after another over a period of a few months.
