Smash Fact: Joker and Kazuya are the only Smash fighters whose debut game isn't playable on a Nintendo platform in some form (Sora too but KINGDOM HEARTS HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX Cloud Version is coming to Switch).

This is kinda tangential but I realized that P5 is the only mainline Persona game that's not on a handheld console as it's not on Switch and Sony only has home consoles nowadays.

I'd say if you want a complete story, go with Persona 5 (Royal, if you can).

You can buy the orignal Persona 5 for like 10 dollars if you try going for physical while Royal is still full price.

Personally i would go with the original because you'd be saving quiet a bit of money and Royal only really adds an extra dungeon and a party member in said dungeon.

I mean, yeah, the original makes more sense financially but the Royal improved the story and gameplay so much for me to at least not recommend it.
