Welp...Metroid Dread didn't win the big one but it didn't leave empty handed with Best Action/Adventure!

However the lack of anything else significant from Nintendo as far as announcements goes it quite disappointing.

But we did get a wooden Voltorb!

Well that was underwhelming. I was not expecting It Takes Two to beat Metroid and Resident Evil. Anyway the highlights for me were

• Evil West
• Have a Nice Death
• Persona 4 Arena
• Sonic trailers
• Cuphead DLC

Other that those, that was just an ok show.

A few thoughts.

1. Samus's theme in the medley.

It was beautiful. It was so beautiful. Also holy hell can we not put so much shots on the orchestra next time? That camera focusing on the gal at the end was cringe as ****. Guess the Metroid fans like my friend Lamperouge got the goosebumps on that.

2. It Takes Two winning was such a surprise. Love years like this in games.

3. Nothing really for me but man it was fun. I'm still gonna be in a bit of **** as I forgot to do something but hey.
