Nah, real talk, I understand why people don't like her or ARMS itself, but I'm still just as hyped to have her in as I was the day she got announced. Her playstyle is also super fun IMO; I love the weird spacing game you have to play with her, it really captures how ARMS feels in Smash Bros. I think what really hurts her was the way she was revealed and the fact she wasn't a third party: I think any first parties are gonna have a hard time simply due to the fact the majority of people seem to want anything but Nintendo characters right now, lol. Which isn't a bad thing, mind you, but it does seem to be a trend that first parties are gonna be viewed as disappointments by a lot of people due to the expectations of the crossover element Ultimate has now.

Oh well, to each their own! :dr^_^:

Everyone's talking about their Min Min experience, meanwhile I don't even have her. Not like it feels like I'm missing out, tbh.

Theaters are one step closer to officially dying
It's no surprise though given everything that has happened. Even after things return to normal. Cinema isn't gonna be like it used to be.

Honestly, when the ARMS for Smash announcement came, I was a bit worried that people were going to be very upset, because it was a pretty small first party series. Especially after Smash fans were pissed over Byleth. But rather than anger, I feel like most Smash fans were just bored. I think it was in part of 2020, and how long it has been since a third party character that Smash fans usually fawn over, which I believe was Terry. As a result, it just exhausted everyone.

Honestly, been not much into Smash in general, like I still look forward to the next characters, but I think I be more excited for saaaay, more Undertale/Deltarune content getting into Smash than anything else. (Beside if it's Xenoblade content, also for DT/UT, it doesn't need to be a brand new character, just, a mii costume or more music, please?)

Persona 5 was a very big and well received title, Dragon Quest is basically the father of adventure RPGs, Banjo and Kazooie have been a highly requested fighter for years, SNK made plenty of notable fighting games, Three Houses was a big title for the FE franchise, and Minecraft is the best selling game in the world. ARMS just feels a bit out of place. Not saying I dislike it’s inclusion, of course.

She could've been a nice lesson in how it's not always about the biggest third-parties, but then Steve happened.
