Didn't he work on Tomodachi Life too? Or am I confusing him with someone else.Person of the Year: Yoshio Sakamoto - the man who gave us Metroid Dread and Famicom Detective Club. Absolute legend pic.twitter.com/hGOzaY2zBj

An unregulated and quickly growing asset that's only valuable due to implausible predictions about its future market value?Damn, seems like everyone's getting into ****ing NFTs nowadays.
Even one of the big shots behind Dragalia Lost is.
Yep.Didn't he work on Tomodachi Life too? Or am I confusing him with someone else.
Beside Other M, dude's got a pretty dang good track record.Yep.
I checked it and it seems he also worked on Balloon Fight, Kid Icarus, WarioWare, Rhythm Heaven, Miitomo, and pretty much all mainline Metroid games.
Well only time will tell on that. But I guess Dread is up there with MMX8 in getting the main character right after a fumble game. Tho I really liked MMX in Command Mission as well. It did a good job getting the whole "peace seeking warrior" that X is supposed to be.Beside Other M, dude's got a pretty dang good track record.
Hopefully Dread and whatever Metroid game he work on next can truly "redempt" him in the eyes of Metroid fans who are still doubtful of him after Other M.
Ain't scared because he has way more hits than he does misses.Person of the Year: Yoshio Sakamoto - the man who gave us Metroid Dread and Famicom Detective Club. Absolute legend pic.twitter.com/hGOzaY2zBj

Ah, so like the game industry leading up to '83? Yeah, I can see how this bubble could potentially pop soon.An unregulated and quickly growing asset that's only valuable due to implausible predictions about its future market value?
Yeah, no way this is an economic bubble.
Personally, I feel Returns and Dread alone should be enough. Both games have had a strong positive reception (especially Dread) and looking at both it's clear he did take the criticisms of Other M to heart and learned from them when approaching those games. At this point Other M is just a misstep in his career, he's definitely done enough to not let it hold him back.Beside Other M, dude's got a pretty dang good track record.

SR had kinda got a mixed reception within the fanbase over the years. Plus it hasn't sell very well that aren't all the game fault, but I agree it was a good first step in the right direction, with Dread shaping up to be the second big one.Personally, I feel Returns and Dread alone should be enough. So as someone who has been working on fantasy worlds and races I'll give my thoughts.Aight Imma just plug anyways

I've been working on a big fantasy setting for the past month-ish. Any thoughts or feedback would be appreciated (Even if there's barely anyone awake to read about it right now)

Big brain thought here but I think this is there way of saying or thinking "look! Now we can fix image copyright in the same music, games and film/TV piracy have!" and this is what they came up with. Why do NFTs exist
why are big artists so keen on destroying not only the environment but also age old art and memes for what is essentially just a receipt
If NFTs are their so called solution to art theftSo I've done all I need to do today except for sorting out my music so gonna spend the day back into Metroid.
I'll admit but the game has really blown me off guard as to how smooth it is. EMMIs are a ***** but in the best way.
So as someone who has been working on fantasy worlds and races I'll give my thoughts.
1. I do love that name of Altheria. Really distinct.
2. I do like the Elves taking from East Asia for inspiration. Mine has real Gaelic magic vibes so it stands out. Also being the dominant race stands out.
3. Clever naming your bird race Tengu and sounds really cool. My bird race takes from Egyptian by the way.
4. Good to see someone else has a taste of Kitsune and Oni (Onima in my stories)
I'll try to think of advice later.

I still cannot believe that this is a real cartoon. Like, I genuinely want to hear the story behind this thing's conception.
Im not a fan of the redesigns of any of the women. Why artists think they need to look like that, I have no ideaI like Nami but I'm not a fan of her timeskip design
Short haired Nami >>>>>
Wait how'd he do that? Can't just be he directed both games because they were made by different studios.Person of the Year: Yoshio Sakamoto - the man who gave us Metroid Dread and Famicom Detective Club. Absolute legend pic.twitter.com/hGOzaY2zBj
