Good morning gamesters. For the first time this week, I actually had a good night's sleep.

As for the Grinch leak, I was on team real for the Grinch leak because it had Isaac and I really didn't want Incineroar.
...I think this is partially why I still can't fully come to terms with Incineroar being in the game to this day

I finished Golden Sun way after the fact. I enjoyed it and I want Isaac in Smash now more than ever, which is both a blessing and a curse.

I'm happy about the way this game's DLC ended, don't get me wrong, but... let's just say, if in like, 5 years they announced an Ultimate port with more characters, I'd definitely go back to campaigning for my top 3 semi-realistic most wanted.

To this end, he then got himself an office, printed out the name of an employee of said company, and haphazardly half blurred out the name because, once again, he's some kind of super genius beyond the mental capacities of mortal man and he knew that the internet's crack team of cybersleuths would find his red-herring name in seconds.

This absolute Einstein of social engineering also happens to moonlight as an expert artist and after presumably spending hours carefully cutting and pasting characters from the Smash poster, he then went out of his way to produce 7 more drawings of his own with obscure elements like vines for Isaac that hardly anyone would be able to make out, and then, for the fun of it, he saw to making a completely unique drawing of the blank version of Battlefield just because he could. He made sure that this fake roster of his perfectly mirrored one posted on 4chan last month by someone whose first language clearly isn't English because he knew that people would immediately make the connection to the French marketing company that he is pretending produced this image. The fact that 5 new characters lines up with the 5 missing stages from Corocoro was all part of his master plan. He also made sure this coincided with Nintendo renewing relevant trademarks.

The lengths you have to go to believe that this is all an incredibly elaborate leak would make this man one of the most intelligent people to ever walk the Earth. This guy would be more competent than the entire government of Saudi Arabia when it comes to fakery.

I suggest you think about which outcome is more likely."

FOP did that one thing every show did to try and keep itself alive. Random baby? check. Lose like half the supporting cast? check. Talking dog? check. New kid outta nowhere? check.

Music is pretty powerful, it at least helped me at my worst. I try to share it just because maybe, just maybe, it could save others.

Maybe, but there’s to many coincidences for it TK be fake imo. The person gave a probably story that literally no other fake post has used. They didn’t just guess they told us why they were adamant in their post because they for sure it was real. Presentation used music not actually in smash, which confirms the story right there. He had to call Disney music for those rights in a presentation and not the game. It was also probably cheaper. The poster didn’t go out of their way to make up random bull**** to sound legit or look good if their fake actually happened. Which is exactly what a person with real sources would do. Example, Gematsu leak didn’t make **** up and only posted what they knew as fact, no opinion.

no one guess October, it was always September or December. It is also a stupid reason to say they based it off of Steve’s presentation date.No one would give any thought to that if guessing. The post was made right when Sakurai would have filmed it which is perfect timing for negotiations.

There’s just to many “but that could have been a lucky guesses” going on with that post.

If I gave someone a gun and a blindfold and said to go break the targets, and they hit every one of them; I’m not going to say they go lucky. There would absolutely be some level of knowledge of what they were aiming for there.

But that’s just my opinion, your of course entitled to yours, and I don’t think you have any intent on changing that.

Regardless, we'll never know if it was legit or not. It got its info right yes, but it's a random post on 4chan, by a no-name anon. They could be legit, or they could have guessed.

The Sora “leak” wouldn’t be the first fake to have gotten something right.

There were also those “leaks” that weren’t even intended to be leaks, just predictions that were so accurate people mistook the people predicting them as leakers.

For all we know, the “leaker” could’ve believed in “13 Theory” which would be the funny coincidences mentioned on Sora’s SmashWiki page

Afaik, that theory didn’t even exist until literally Tuesday. I browsed a lot of online boards to see what nonsense rumors were coming up after Kazayu and after Sephiroth nobody thought any other Square Rep was coming in, let Alone Sora who they expected to be locked up in Mickey’s castle till KH 4.


The big guesses for the final character were Phoenix Wright or Chief/Doom Slayer. With many people expecting a pretty pitiful ending such as Cinderace, the SMT5 protag or other shill picks.

So to completely disregard all of that and be right is intriguing nonetheless, regardless of if the Sora leak was real. Still the fact that every media outlet covered this leak says a lot imo, even Youtubers who were all against Sora started going “Sora leaked!” Which was also an intriguing outcome.

Even if the Sora leak was real, leaks were trapped in a Boy Who Cried Wolf situation.

There were so many fake ones out there it was incredibly hard to pick out which ones are real until you got to look back at them in hindsight.

It doesn't mean you should automatically treat everything as fake but it's always good to look at things with a hefty dose of skepticism.
