I haven't watched the show but your description is making me less interested.

From what I can tell, the main character (whoever the heck they are) seems... stupid.

Like the secret seems like a good one to keep, especially if it involves the security of the land and its people. Why whine that you don't know? I don't know all my friend's secrets and they don't know mine, and we aren't involved with national security.

They aren't owed the truth to a secret of this magnitude. Even then, this seems like something they shouldn't be offended by. This just seems like someone writing about friendship who doesn't know how friendship works.

The critics were apparently pretty wrong. Also just from the screenshots. He-Man and Skeletor are the only characters that look halfway decent so I’m not really sure I’m all that interested in watching it to pull my own opinion either.

I don’t know where that mindset comes from but that’s actually illegal and VERY RARELY happens without scandals. This is more so that, like The Last Jedi (which is actually a good movie), did not meet the expectations of the fans while still being a good piece of media in itself.

I watched the old Cartoon myself and it’s not even that the animation of this one is bad, it’s powerhouse for crying out loud, it’s just the designs don’t appeal to me. I’m sure the show is actually a good show but it just couldn’t satiate fans that were hoping for a modernization of He-Man.

Sometimes I see a new toy come out that I would’ve loved to have when I was ten and feel ripped off.

Finished watching the re-run of the yesterday's live World Premiere red carpet for Shang-Chi & the Legend of the Ten Rings and although I had mentioned this in the past, Sir Ben Kingsley is part of the cast whose character Trevor Slattery was last seen in the All Hail the King spin-off where he took the real "Mandarin's" name.

The current social media reactions are highly positive and I believe the review embargo will end next Monday.

Dunno if there's any Star Wars fans here but this trailer apparently dropped

It looks pretty good. Seems to just focus on stories set within the Star Wars universe that aren't tied to the larger canon. If those stories are good, I'm game, especially considering The Bad Batch kinda failed at having a compelling main cast of characters and relied too much on old ones to keep me intrigued. If nothing else, it looks really damn pretty

That's why I was only involved with MYM for a short time. To them, a good moveset has paragraphs of detail for every single move, and even the normal attacks have multiple special properties. Many of the movesets would never realistically be in a Smash game.
