I think I'm gonna replay the Half-Life series. I don't know whether I'll ever get around to being able to play Half-Life: Alyx or not, but it's been a long time since I played any entry in the series, and I'm just at a point where I want to revisit it.

I'm just not yet sure if I'm gonna restart with the original game from 1999, or instead start with the remake Black Mesa.

For Hickman's other mutant work, is it possible to read them as individual series, or are they best read in release order? (ex. working through all of the number ones that were released at the same time before moving on to the number 2s that were released at the same time) I tried jumping back and forth between House of X and Powers of X going by the release order at the back of the issues, and it felt like a weird way to read them.

majority of the time you can read them individually. You only have to read them in order when they all do a short term event together. Since there isn’t anything massive happening until next month now that a massive spoiler moment occurred, you can continue with individual readings

Give your characters rage; there's an item that does it. They take more damage but their limit increases faster. You can use tranquilizers to remove it later.
