I get that it’s supposed to be silly but it’s like… the annoying kind of silly. Maybe it’s just because I’m still only in the first level but… idk. It’s very bland and very Internet-ey.I personally think those are all hilarious. It's supposed to be cute and silly.
It's even in the game's marketing: "A cute as heck platformer."

No it’s different because Donkey Kong has a more naturalistic aesthetic which obviously means it has deep mature themes for real gamers while Mario’s just for poopy babies.

Assuming the patch for the rom's a .isp, you just click apply ips patch, find the rom, and boom.
So I find the ROM I need to patch it on to, click apply IPS patch on said ROM, and it's done?

Assuming the base file's for Fire Red, which I assume it is idk what you'd need, more or less yes. It's basically fusing the patch you downloaded into the ROM file.

Idk. Lazy comedy just always makes me groan more then laugh. I appreciate effort, even in comedy. And shifty observations and situational twists are always what make me laugh the most. So random references and silly phrases just don’t. They just feel stupid.
