I found a dove with a broken wing right outside of my apartment. I brought it inside then called a local shelter who said they could help it.

I'm really nervous right now. I think the dove will survive though.

I might keep it afterwards if they'll let me....which is kind of exciting.

I've heard doves rarely survive long in the wild since their white feathers make them easy targets for predators. I kind of wish I kept them without calling a shelter. :/

Well I'm looking into it and if it's just a domestic rock pigeon rather then a different kind called a "release dove" then it has a chance out in the wild. Release doves are smaller then rock pigeons so I'm guessing from its size that it's the latter.

And they would have certainly died if I left them - if I had no issue picking them up a cat would have an even easier time. I did what I could. And if it really was born outdoors it might not have been happy living in a tiny little apartment anyway.

Back to my Smashboards haitus, I suppose. But man that was such a gorgeous bird.

the most memorial part of today’s activities so far is when I was operating this little kiddie boat ride, and then this humongous woman comes up and tried to hop into a boat. The look on their face when I told them they were too tall just screamed “wait, this is a kiddie ride?”

It’s been a long time since it happened, I honestly don’t remember all the details. All I know is that it was a ****show, to the point that almost all of the major users left en masse afterwords.

I'm not sure what you mean by Stockholm Syndrome: The Game (I know what Stockholm Syndrome is, though I'm not sure how it applies here), but I do agree that the community is pretty bad. I tried one online game for League Of Legends, and my experience was so rough that it turned me off of playing MOBAs online in general.
