Gonna make all that animated Hulu shilling in the first few episodes awkwardYeah. But WB owns it and Disney own Hulu. I have to feel like WB's lawyers are at constant work to get the show off of their competitors service and on to their own. Especially since the Hulu deal predates Disney's majority acquisition of Hulu (also WB still owns like... a third of Hulu after the fox buyout gave Disney control of their third).
Just like when they made episodes directly making fun of Fox in the original and then moved to Kids WB?Gonna make all that animated Hulu shilling awkward
it would...and that alone would make it kinda pointless to take it off of Hulu (tho I'm assuming Disney+ kept all the Hulu naming on their Marvel/Hulu shows...maybe something similar could occur)Gonna make all that animated Hulu shilling in the first few episodes awkward
If these characters were all planned around 2015-18 and not November 2019, they can't really acknowledge the development of the idea that first parties are "inferior" DLC choices among Smash fans. Nintendo would also probably have looked at how other fighting game fanbases are perfectly fine with DLC fighters not being guests.Wouldn’t be the first time they showed a first party at E3.
And it’s not like a first party can’t be hype or anything.
"There will be a 1 hour long Nintendo Direct showcasing upcoming titles for the Nintendo Switch including a DLC fighter for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate"Can this week PLEASE be the week we get our Nintendo E3 details???
I mean, the "Inferior 1st party" thing is entirely subjective. If these characters were all planned around 2015-18 and not November 2019, they can't really acknowledge the development of the idea that first parties are "inferior" DLC choices among Smash fans. I'd tell you, but a buncha Reds have a target on my forehead if I say anything. What's *****?
Oh, I know. But four third parties in a row in FP1 helped develop this mindset that first parties don't deserve to be DLC/cannot be DLC unless they're from the newest FE/Pokemon game, and this mindset can't be acknowledged all that much if they're unscrapping the scrapped characters unless the remaining two are Alucard and James Bond, something I highly doubt.I mean, the "Inferior 1st party" thing is entirely subjective.
Look at the warm reception Pyra/Mythra got(Moreso in Japan), and they're first party.
People felt that way in regards to Smash 4 as well, this isn't a mindset that came with FP1 you know.Oh, I know. That's great, man!I might be getting a part time job in the next few weeks

It just seems more prominent thanks to how FP1 went.People felt that way in regards to Smash 4 as well, this isn't a mindset that came with FP1 you know.
Is it really odd for people to want characters that they actively campaign for as opposed to what feels like "Nintendo Switch has games"?It just seems more prominent thanks to how FP1 went.
Infernape was my starter, Lopunny was my Mega of choice, and Taillow was for an HM flip slot with Bidoof. This team is a pure pre gym team, and it ****ing steam rolled everyone.
Well I've known for a few days and talked about it on Discord. That's great, man!
What are you currently looking into?
I really hope it works out for ya. Might be just what you need to finally start turning things around.Well I've known for a few days and talked about it on Discord.
It's a part time library assistant at a hospital. Don't want to say exactly as it narrows down to like two places. Hell of a distance on a bike but might be worth it.

Nostalgia through the roof.
I doubt it honestly.I really hope it works out for ya. Might be just what you need to finally start turning things around.
To each their own, though, but I happen to think the fact that it's a guessing game is what makes it unique in contrast to future anticipations in certain situations in matchups that takes place. I feel that should a sequel become a reality, they should evolve on what's been finalized. The ARMS guessing game will always go down as one of the low points of speculation.
"GUESS WHO" is legit the worst thing about this game's hype cycle and I sincerely hope they never, ever do it again. Is it really odd for people to want characters that they actively campaign for as opposed to what feels like "Nintendo Switch has games"?
Like, I love, love Byleth, but they're the 8th Fire Emblem character.
And P/M were warmly received, because people wanted XB2.
As for ARMs.... truthfully, this is the fault of the dev team. TBFH, I think Min Min would have been more exciting had they not done the "GUESS WHO?!" in March and then 3 months of silence.
1) Take a looooooong vacationSo after Ultimate is finished up. What would you guys like Sakurai to work on next?
-Start working on Smash 6
-Kid Icarus Uprising 2
-Kirby game
-Make a new entry in a different Nintendo franchise
-Make a new entry in a different Non-tendo franchise
-Make a new IP
-Take a looooooong vacation
For myself? I would love for a Kid Icarus: Uprising sequel.
I've yet to play the first but I really want to and wish they'd port it to the Switch or at least have it available in the eShop.
I would LOVE to see him take the helm on something else the way he did Kid Icarus. He doesn't want to do another Kid Icarus so we can give that to someone else. I'd love it if he did an F-Zero, a new Famicom Detective Club, a new Mach Rider, a new Mysterious Murasame Castle,.... or even a new Eternal Darkness. So after Ultimate is finished up. You can say "we've yet to get a first-party DLC that doesn't seem shilly, therefore it can never happen".If past choices included someone like Waluigi or Isaac or Bandanna Dee then way more people would have more hope for first party DLC.
Hey, Max Brass and Dr. Coyle had a much higher than 0% Chance. Only because they had a lot of story relevance, and were technically the final bosses. The ARMS guessing game will always go down as one of the low points of speculation.
Because like, it was obvious it was going to be between Spring Man, Ribbon Girl, or Min Min, it was just how you looked at it.
Did you really think someone like, Master Mummy or Helix stood a chance? Maybe for the most brief of moments, but it was always going to be between one of the two poster characters, or the fan/creator favorite.
And then it was just, 3 months of "ARMs?" "Yep, ARMs."
Hell, the fact that people love making guessing game boogeymen posts speaks volumes that the community thinks it sucked lol.
