You know DC's Hannah Barbera Beyond initiative? What would you guys think of a show or set of shows that was that concept done with more adherance to the source material and less gritty violence in both story and art style? With a tone and mission statement similar to the 2012 TMNT reboot?

Yeah. But WB owns it and Disney own Hulu. I have to feel like WB's lawyers are at constant work to get the show off of their competitors service and on to their own. Especially since the Hulu deal predates Disney's majority acquisition of Hulu (also WB still owns like... a third of Hulu after the fox buyout gave Disney control of their third).

And it’s not like a first party can’t be hype or anything.

If these characters were all planned around 2015-18 and not November 2019, they can't really acknowledge the development of the idea that first parties are "inferior" DLC choices among Smash fans. Nintendo would also probably have looked at how other fighting game fanbases are perfectly fine with DLC fighters not being guests.

I just want to know the exact date and time that Nintendo Direct will be. I might be getting a part time job in the next few weeks and I have not missed a Nintendo Direct (sudden drops excluded) since 2014.

Like, I love, love Byleth, but they're the 8th Fire Emblem character.


And P/M were warmly received, because people wanted XB2.



As for ARMs.... truthfully, this is the fault of the dev team. TBFH, I think Min Min would have been more exciting had they not done the "GUESS WHO?!" in March and then 3 months of silence.

After getting my ass pushed in by Radical Red a dozen times, I decided to take a break and beat another rom hack I been meaning to revisit; Pokemon Gaia.

I actually just got done beating it. Very fun rom, and I hope to see more features in future updates. Anyways, here's my end team;

Infernape was my starter, Lopunny was my Mega of choice, and Taillow was for an HM flip slot with Bidoof. This team is a pure pre gym team, and it ****ing steam rolled everyone.

Again, very fun. Should consider removing HMs though, and replacing them with tool based methods. Like a Poke Rider, etc..

It's almost like the problem people have with the first party DLC is the characters chosen rather than the corporate logo next to them.
Two FE characters doesn't help when people get insufferably anal over slots and representation
Arms has the dedicated fanbase but a lot of people also don't care for it and the guess who **** tired people out even if we got the most popular character who happened to be the director's favourite.
Pyra and Mythra are almost entirely dependant on how you feel about XC2 and that game is pretty divisive but leaning more positive.

If past choices included someone like Waluigi or Isaac or Bandanna Dee then way more people would have more hope for first party DLC.

But then insecure manchildren wouldn't be able to force this stupid "First Party vs Third Party" bull**** and damn that'd be great.

Because like, it was obvious it was going to be between Spring Man, Ribbon Girl, or Min Min, it was just how you looked at it.


Did you really think someone like, Master Mummy or Helix stood a chance? Maybe for the most brief of moments, but it was always going to be between one of the two poster characters, or the fan/creator favorite.


And then it was just, 3 months of "ARMs?" "Yep, ARMs."



Hell, the fact that people love making guessing game boogeymen posts speaks volumes that the community thinks it sucked lol.

For myself? I would love for a Kid Icarus: Uprising sequel.

I've yet to play the first but I really want to and wish they'd port it to the Switch or at least have it available in the eShop.

To each their own, though, but I happen to think the fact that it's a guessing game is what makes it unique in contrast to future anticipations in certain situations in matchups that takes place. I feel that should a sequel become a reality, they should evolve on what's been finalized.

"GUESS WHO" is legit the worst thing about this game's hype cycle and I sincerely hope they never, ever do it again.

I understand it was probably done because they thought it would boost the reception to ARMs, but it honestly did the opposite, and this comes from someone who's a huge Min Min fan. The fact she's gonna go down in Smash history as an "ugh" character to people makes me sad.

Like the announcement felt very rushed and the 3 months of silence kinda reinforced that imo.

Again, could be wrong, but either way, I got my XB2 girls, so even if it was boring back there, can't really complain now.

Yeah, the guessing game wasn't a good idea. In 3 months time people have discussed every potential newcomer because the amount of characters to pull from was small to begin with, not to mention some are more popular or have a bigger role in the game than the others, and it seemed like more people were happy they finally knew who it was so they could move on than people were happy the character was Min Min.

I would LOVE to see him take the helm on something else the way he did Kid Icarus. He doesn't want to do another Kid Icarus so we can give that to someone else. I'd love it if he did an F-Zero, a new Famicom Detective Club, a new Mach Rider, a new Mysterious Murasame Castle,.... or even a new Eternal Darkness.

But beyond that him making a new IP is an attractive venture. But I am kind of worried about how he would do that. He does great when making a fansefvice fueld revival like Smash or Uprising. But I worry that if he were to make an original IP he might turn into another Hideo Kojima or Tetsuya Nomura.

I'm excited to take father out for Father's Day month. Being loyal to the hospitality industry, I love chefs that cook outside infront of us to show how clean and non-corrupt they are, which is appreciated.

Being born in New Orleans Louisiana, Bourbon Street, and the French Quarter have it's perks. The restaurant that is on-going as preferable, measuring my capability in execution and presentation to their own, it's a perfect rivalry, and honor to have been inspired by them to have gotten this far. Their employees are compassionate and energetic. A place to belong somewhere personally. I can't wait to return to it and bars in that area.

Hey, Max Brass and Dr. Coyle had a much higher than 0% Chance. Only because they had a lot of story relevance, and were technically the final bosses.

To be fair with ARMS but the game was given a bit of **** for getting a character which is shame. Don't think it should have been full priced $60/£40 game but it was a great foothold to show the experimentation of the Switch. Really need a sequel cause it was given a solid foundation. And really, Min-Min is just super cool of a character and while I wasn't the most hyped, she was someone I was very content with.


I still wished we had more characters for the base roster newcomers wise to this day though.
