And it’s not like a first party can’t be hype or anything.

To be fair, you didn't have to pay anything extra for Ridley as he was included in the base roster.

But I do agree with you that first parties can also be quite hype.

Well... I won’t be happy that’s for sure. I really only had two things I wanted from this pass (well 3, RIP Geno) and if one of these is a first party then I’m screwed out if one of them unless we get another pass. (Which could still happen... I hope).

I can't speak on the rest, but as a DB fan, even I have to admit that Roshi was wilding. Glad Z and Super toned it down a bit, because his amtics in DB was a bit too much at times.

I haven't played against an actual human in Smash Ultimate nor any other fighting game since last year. XD

Since the 1up with the arcade stick, have much quicker universal system fundamental responses, but not enough character specific knowledge applied to vast character matchups.

Pepe's issue was that he was really... ****y to say the least, and that was his entire character. He never got his ass handed to him like Johnny, he never got the memo like Johnny, and he wasn't treated as a loser who's best friend was a little girl like Johnny. Im addition, Ralph doesn't have those issues. Unless Ralph starts abusing April, he will be fine. And if you say violence, keep in mind that this is a fighting game forum for a childrens fighting game.

Also. Pepe has not been cancel cultured from oblivion. He was a part of the bugs bunny’s birthday short which is a part of HBO Max’s Looney Tunes Cartoons series. He’s in that World of Mayhem game, and he featured heavily in both of the last two productions LT did. Just because they cut the one superfluous scene he was in in Space Jam 2 does not mean he’s cancelled. Heck I DON’T want him cancelled! I just want them to use him differently going forward in a way that’s laughing at sexual harassers instead of their victims.

I'm usually pretty against canceling fictional characters because I've noticed a lot of instances where the movements mostly just stem from ignorance and a lack of effort to look into the source material beyond a surface level inspection, but I will admit that some tropes included in media aimed towards children run the risk of instilling bad values in them and probably merit being done away with nowadays.

I agree with that the culprit has to be punished in one way or another, but I feel like lately, they forget that so the actual punchline is that they're a perv and made a girl uncomfortable and not that they got their ass beat because they are a terrible person. Even then, I can see why people kinda want to remove that altogether, avoid controversy and the like.

As for Pepe, I'm sad they removed him because Lebron was supposed to teach him about consent, and I would've payed double to see that.
