Haven't really kept up with what's coming out but it's mainly just Spider-Man: No Way Home and Venom: Let There Be Carnage for me right now.

I'm Marvel trash, especially if it's of the wall crawler variety.

For most anticipated mine is would be The Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard, The Suicide Squad, Antlers, Top Gun: Maverick, and F9.

I agree with that the culprit has to be punished in one way or another, but I feel like lately, they forget that so the actual punchline is that they're a perv and made a girl uncomfortable and not that they got their ass beat because they are a terrible person. Even then, I can see why people kinda want to remove that altogether, avoid controversy and the like.

As for Pepe, I'm sad they removed him because Lebron was supposed to teach him about consent, and I would've payed double to see that.

Yeah, just note that I could give less of a **** that Pepe himself got cancel and that I agree the lack of such punchline like you described can be a real problem in show aimed at young folks.

Still, like you , I bet lots of peoples would have love Pepe getting his ass beat, and i'm not sure why they didn't go with that than just cancel him & getting streisand'ed by it.

Top Gun: Maverick definitely has the potential in being one of the better belated sequels. That's why I'm highly anticipated and have high hopes for it.

Watching the first film a few weeks back. Got a huge kick out of it. If Rodan especially were to get his own solo MonsterVerse film. That's the film style they should go for.

Just finished Castlevania's final season.
I was quite satisfied with its conclusion.

I legit thought Trevor died in his fight against Death.
I was also surprised to see Dracula and Lisa alive again.

Probably not, it's an RPG Maker XP game, so it doesn't hook into programs like that AFAIK.

Not sure yet if I try, the story & world is interesting, but the battle system is apparantly a bit of a let down.

Will say tho that since I know French, I be able to play the OG version of the game with no problems.

Again, Oneshot first, then we see.

Yeah. But WB owns it and Disney own Hulu. I have to feel like WB's lawyers are at constant work to get the show off of their competitors service and on to their own. Especially since the Hulu deal predates Disney's majority acquisition of Hulu (also WB still owns like... a third of Hulu after the fox buyout gave Disney control of their third).

To be fair, you didn't have to pay anything extra for Ridley as he was included in the base roster.

But I do agree with you that first parties can also be quite hype.

To be fair though, Ridley was wanted for like four games straight and had the same type of massive following most third parties had. No one could be a bigger reveal then him that was first party except for maybe k Rool.

Which is exactly why they showed him at S3, they he would still break the fanbase and really drive the hype up while they kept the other big reveals secret for the time being.

Phantom Breaker Overdrive is nice so far, but I've been waiting on the release of their fighting game this year, Phantom Breaker Omnia. There are 3 styles to choose from, Quick, Hard, Omnia. Also, it's system is said to lean to a more old school perspective, which is perfect for me.

I'm not exactly a fan of a more modernized generation in mechanics, so this has the potential to be a favorite of mine when it comes to anime fighters, Fate Unlimited Codes being an honorable mention. I'm in favor of more substance over flash.

Didn't the tweet just say "no"? It could just mean that, whatever the voice actors were recording, it wasn't for Smash. (which would make sense - I don't know much about how trailers are put together, but I doubt the voice-over is recorded less than a month before the trailer is released/revealed) I'm not sure if it means much either way.

Consider, though, that Imran is someone who everyone views as a legitimate source of info, a fact that he himself is aware of.


I seriously doubt that he'd put himself out there in regards to Smash unless he was extremely confident, especially due to how vitriolic this fanbase can be. Imagine if Crash were to get a trailer next, even if the recording session wasn't for said trailer, he'd be harassed non-stop by Smash fans as "HAHA YOU WERE WRONG!" like soo many others have been.


The fact that he's very confident, to me, speaks volumes.
