in all honestly though, what kind of game is it? a platformer? rpg? fighting game?
Believe it or not I actually have a place for that.

And it's a third person shooter with an open world, RPG elements, elements of management akin to MGS5's Mother Base management, and a calendar like the Persona games (though only lasting September-December/First Week of January)
For the Ghostbusters game I assume the newest film would have something in it? Games love their cross promotion.
Also new Switch update out. Who likes stability?
Yeah. I have ways to tie it into Afterlife. But I am all ready to drop them if the movie isn't good.

out of context MTG be like:

"I don't have a hand"
"I'm punching you in the face"
"gonna search the graveyard real quick"
"I sacrifice my child to the alter"
"Swamp, pass"
"I plow your mom"
"I have a response"
"I'm gonna whip out my deck"
"target-nonblack"
"he's pro-white"
"I bolt your face"

all perfectly normal lines in a regular-ole game of MTG, but taken out of context you'd get some odd stares. :4pacman:

Anyways. Did want to speak about something more serious and on a more personal note.
So as of half a day ago I have fully left the old robotics forum I used to be part of on exactly the 10th anniversary of when I joined. Wasn't exactly good at the topics and wasn't really well liked. Used to be pretty ****** and moany, was very dramatic and got chewed out a lot.

Even visiting a few years on they never saw me matured so I gave up on that place. Did a post that was pretty much see you later ****lords and left even though the place is a ghost town.

Didn't really develop connections like I did here. I've had small half-steps back some days here but at least the people helped me grow on that. And I think it's also because 2021 me had a lot of side interests that 2011 me didn't.

Still without that place wouldn't have gotten a foothold in the online world.
And now 10 years later after I joined that place I'm here on Smashboards hanging out with people who are quite cool with me, have online friends who I can relate to and a nice chill forum where I can talk more easily.

Reflecting on that, I'm quite thankful to have joined here.

And there are a few who I owe to on that and they know who they are I think. Including a certain few who have been very, very supportive of my writing and photography.

Glad to have left that old place now. More chinging (don't ask) boy more out of my past existence the better.

This is a little late, but I saw folks posting what they wanted to see at E3 and I want to state my wants to:

- a big update for Animal Crossing New Horizons

- a Mario game ( mainly mainline or RPG )

- Tomodachi Life Switch port ( w/ Miitopia customization options pls? )

- Bandana Dee, Tom Nook, or Waluigi in Smash Honestly? I don’t really care that much for Smash these days so they can reveal whatever they want.
- though I wouldn’t mind seeing these guys finally getting in.

- maaaayyybe some Switch ports for Dragon Quest 4-9? I’d like to play them.

"Hey, are you awake?"

"No, now shut up."

"What if the character is revealed at E3, but they decide to go back to how things used to be, so even if the character is shown off, they won't be released until they show off CP11's trailer in September?"

Can't sleep

Hey, does anyone know what Yuyuki actually translates to? Like... Wikipedia says that the title for Shin Onigashima ( ふぁみこん昔話 新・鬼ヶ島 ) literally translates into "Famicom Fairytales: New Island of Ogres". But it says that Yuyuki's Japanese title ( ふぁみこんむかし話 遊遊記) translates literally into "Famicom Fairytales: Yuyuki". Like..... WHAT!?! Is it just a random series of syllables? WHAT DOES IT MEAN!?!

For me, I want to see/predict we will see....

A new Advance Wars
A new Rhythm Heaven
A new Wario Land
Super Metroid Remake
Switch ports of OoT 3D, MM 3D, WWHD, and TPHD
EarthBound Trilogy (limited release)
Smash double reveal with additional knowledge that "more content is coming after" with an incredible vagueness
Bayonetta 3 full reveal
Metroid Prime 4 cinematic trailer
Splatoon 3 trailer
Zelda themed Monster Hunter Rise DLC
New Donkey Kong Project
Pikmin 4 logo reveal
XenoWarriors (Xenogears, Xenosaga, and Xenoblade Chronicles Warriors Crossover)
Super Mario RPG Remake

Popping the characters into google itself, not translate, gives me "Travels".

Dunno how accurate it is, but considering the game is based off of Journey to the West, seems reasonable.

Okay, so I feel bad bringing up the ghost thing. If Snake chooses to believe in ghosts and souls, that's fine.

But as a bit of a science enthusiast there's a couple things I want to clear up. I'm not an expert so I might get some things a little wrong but I do have a little bit of general basic knowledge on some of this stuff.
The soul is a kind of energy. And energy can not be created or destroyed. Therefore SOMETHING has to happen to it.
Soul is not a scientific energy. To put it most simply, energy is what allows things to move or heat up.

The first law of thermodynamics (energy and matter can't be created or destroyed) wouldn't apply to a soul because it doesn't fit the scientific definition of energy.

Energy in science is quantifiable. It can be measured. We have no way of measuring "souls", so nothing in science can currently apply to them.
Of course it's not in your chest. You do know how the brain works, right? It's just electrical impulses being shot back and forth. Further more, science has proven that every time you access a memory you are creating it again, not pulling from some neurological hard drive. But if that's the case, then what are you creating the memories FROM (and if there is a legitimate answer to this question, please let me know because I'm open). But anyway, yeah. That's what the soul is.
Memories aren't totally recreated every time we remember them so much as altered. When you think back on your memory, your neurons make new connections that can distort them. The reason is that memories aren't meant to remember things perfectly - rather they're to collect information to use in the future, so they're designed to change every time new information is obtained.

It's not the same thing as a hard drive but we do know that neurons do physically store memories, just in a different way. Studies on mice have shown that if you block the ability for a mouse's neurons in the hippocampus to form new connections, they can't form new memories. Likewise one of the characteristics of Alzheimer's disease is a loss of connections between neurons.

Did you get the original joke?

because you could’ve and you could not have it’s a crab shoot for me really and I feel that I need to be safe in the knowledge that everyone knows I don’t just randomly ask someone who their favorite little rascal is:)
I don’t care, I just wanted to relive some of my childhood again

Welp it's night time, my sister is asleep and everything interesting is closed. Gotta find a way to entertain myself for 9 hours before it's my own bed time.

Would be a great time to binge a game if I had something I felt like playing.

It depends on the type of memory (sensory, short-term, long-term), but different aspects of memories are sorted by the hippocampus to be stored therein and in parts of the brain that would be responsible for that section, i.e. visual, auditory, factual, etc. and are maintained by undergoing repeated synapses between the same neurons. When you recall something, the information is retrieved from relevant storage facilities in the brain to compile the memory. Of course, that memory is susceptible to degradation and other impediments over time.

You're creating memories from synapses in the hippocampus and other pertinent brain areas tied to the memory in question and responsible for specific information storage. For example, the visual aspects of memories trigger activity in the occipital lobe, which is responsible for vision.

Soul is the genre of music mastered by Marvin Gaye.

I thought it was a Pixar movie.
