Just watched Full Metal Jacket with my sis. (not a spin-off of FMA in case someone wonder)

Suffice to say, it was quite a...experience. I say as much.

Mind you, I liked it, but it's definitly not a "family friendly" movie.

It is however, very quotable, that's for sure.

I wouldn't say so, yes it's pretty funny, but it all served for the story & especially the last scene with Sergeant Hartman. Plus the contrast with the second half wouldn't be as effective without the first part being the way it is.

Still, i'm glad I finally know the source of all those clips I saw online before, and I got to see a pretty great movie out of it too.

Really, I only know of Keanu from that Key and Peele movie about the kitten getting caught up in a bunch of mafia shenanigans. It was cute for what it was worth.

It's worth looking into Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure (some of the dialogue hasn't aged well, but the premise is great), the Matrix, and John Wick. (though that depends on how you feel about goofy/nonsensical 90's comedies, sci-fi, and violent action movies, respectively)
