Cuz the kids who grew up with it are older (I say being the same age as these people) and making their opinions known. Not to mention it got kinda **** on back in the day, with some reviews saying it was worse than 06 which is obviously laughable. So now the pendulum is swinging to the other direction.

Welcome to the Sonic fanbase: What was yesterday's hated game is today's pure angel that never did anything wrong. It's a lot like Zelda's fanbase, lol.So I finished Sonic Unleashed...
The game isn’t BAD. But there’s so MUCH DOWNTIME. The day levels? Awesome great, I would play a whole game of those. Which I have. Sorta. It’s called Colors. You can make it through daytime levels in less than 10 minutes usually and they’re infinitely satisfying and replayable. But the ****ing Werehog levels on average last 30-40 minutes. And they’re boring. Again, not bad, just boring. There’s some upgrades here and some light platforming that breaks up the obnoxiously button marshy combat but wow I hate these levels. It KINDA carries over into the hubs but the hubs are actually played as Sonic so I can pass them as being the obvious midpoint between Daytime and Nightime levels and it’s just OK.
As much as people prop up Unleashed as one of the best in the franchise I am woefully disappointed. I’ll rely the game... but only the daytime levels. Which apparently there’s a mod for Generations PC out there that recreates all the day levels for that game at 60FPS which is super nice.
But yeah I didn’t hate Unleashed and am looking forward to replaying the day levels in that mod once I get my PC going but the product as a whole just isn’t that great and I don’t know why people say this is the best in the franchise. I am shocked by that sentiment.

Not quite sure where Snaley is, but if I find out I’ll tell ya.I say what Unleashed nailed the most is the story, character writting for Sonic & Chips and the style/presentation.
Like to this day, it's still one of the most beautiful game the blue hedgedog ever apparear in, and the fact he doesn't act like a jokester every seconds and without being too serious all the time is like peak Sonic as a character, in my humble opinion, of course.
The humans are also the best looking humans in the series, and idk why Sega decided to just throw them to the trash afterward. 'cuz they finally nailed a design for them, but oh well.
I could go on other positives or negative, but I say there's reasons to love Unleash....and reasons not to.
You just gotta have a open mind with that kind of stuff I say, especially since it's a Sonic game we're talking about.

I mean.. Disney is the most powerful one so it makes sense he would be the one we single out most. AT&T and Comcast are bad sure, but they just want monopolies. They aren't interested in shaping culture or controlling people the way Disney is. I mean, really, out of the three which one is actually most likely to start trying to get it's people into offices of power?
Sonic is a big inside joke.
SuMo deserves the love. It had bad timing as it got sandwiched between a game of emptyness and nothing special and the ****show that came after. It didn't deserve to be clumped with the "downfall of the franchise"
Unfortunately for maybe you, no offense, I heard they may be making a Sonic Colors remaster.
Counterpoint, your on rails for most of the adventure having to follow Lillie everywhere.
I will never deny Sun and Moon’s problems, namely the obnoxious way the story is presented. But good lord, I adore those games. The Alola region is so comfy and atmospheric, it has some of the best characterization in the series. The professor and the trial captains and kahunas and the team leaders all feel like people. With pasts and goals and day to day lives outside of being opponents for you. The region has an amazing sense of history and culture. I could imagine myself living in this region more than any other. The locations are exotic, and while I could’ve done with a bit more exploration there was still a good bit of it. Way better than the hallway fest that was the come. The music is great, and also the Pokémon are great and it has one of the best starter trios in the series. Top 5 easily.
And I'm happy for it. Again, I didn't hate Colors and a remaster could fix some of my oroblems with the game.
I'm 99% sure that was the reason why Ultra exists, but then they just forgot to add the story.
If everything Ultra added was part of SM’s postgame, or even dlc as you said, they’d be top five Pokémon games IMO.
This is false. In 2019, Disney made less then 70 billion dollars in revenue. That's a lot, but Comcast made 103 billion and AT&T made a whopping 181 billion. Disney is actually the smallest of the three - their strong branding just makes them seem larger.
Disney is interested in selling toys.
All three of them lobby. There isn't a single corporation that wouldn't gain from sticking their hands into politics.
See, I can't help but always disagree with this a ton. Colors set the ground work for Generations, was honestly visually fantastic for the hardware it was running on, and featured a game that had focused design and knew what it wanted to be without an obtrusive gimmick that brought it down. It was one of the few times Sonic Team felt like they knew what they were doing and what they actually wanted to do with Sonic.
The real reason is money, but i always kinda assumed the technical reason was because base Sun and Moon was rushed heavily for the 20th anniversary and Ultra is just the content they couldnt fit in regularly..
Maybe, but given Toriyama's comment about an unexpected character, I have my doubts. (I can't think of anyone who fits the bill in the Moro arc)
I've only seen Halloween 1, 2, 3, and the 2018 movie, so I can't really comment on the entries in between those. From what I've heard, they aren't great (especially Halloween 6 or Halloween Resurrection), but the original is extremely well-done - at the very least, watch that one. (Halloween 2 and 2018 were good, though the 2018 one is the only scary movie that I saw in theaters and I felt pretty freaked out afterwards (the last act was pretty tense) - then again, I'm not used to that sort of thing)
I've seen how they make their employees work at Disneyland. I do NOT want every american citizen to become a "Cast Member". Blarg. I'm telling you, if any of these three companies are gonna turn into a fascist state, it's Disney.
